Web 2 Speech is a web browser that can read web pages back to you.
Whether you are looking at something else, or have your hands tied this will allow you to hear the web page content while allowing your eyes and hands to be doing other things.
If you want to start hearing a website from a particular point, that is not a problem; just highlight that paragraph (by taping on it) and then press play.
* 36 different voices
* Adjustable pitch and speed
* Ability to start, pause and stop the speech and any point on the web page.
* Rewind and Fast Forward buttons allow you to jump forward and back a paragraph.
* No online accounts to setup or website log in required.

What happened to the good version?
I downloaded this app for my iPad because I have so enjoyed using it on my iPhone. But this is not the same animal. That iPhone version from a year ago would allow me to import any URL play it directly not in the browser but an app itself and to store those URLs for further listening. This version is extremely crippled and limited and useless and I wish I had my $.99 back.
Works well, ver few features
Once I set up the pitch and rate, and navigate to the web page I want to hear, it works well. It has forward and backward controls, but it would be nice if it had bookmarks. I guess that all can expect for a buck.
I gave it 4 stars because the few features it does have worked without any problems.
What I really want is an app that will accept voice input for hands free searching and reading on the fly.
Does not work in background mode so screen has to be left on. Also lacks useable navigation around page. There are many free readers that put this one to shame.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
