To use Mobile Banking, you must be enrolled in Webster Online Banking. Go to www.websteronline.com and choose 'Enroll'. If you're new to Webster Bank, you can open a new account and enroll in digital banking right from the app. Choose “New Account” on the login screen to get started.

To The Lousy First Comment
It’s something NEW get over it - times are changing. I’ve been a Webster customer since I was 18 and I love the new change. Instead of complaining ask if you need help cause the wonderful staff helped me delete and install the apps and walked me thru all my questions.
1. The font is huge cause your phone settings are probably set larger so your apps will have larger fonts (not the apps fault)!
2. Knowing if it’s credit/debit is extremely important for some of us customers especially when we have card limits and need to know if our transactions or Visa or debit
3. The numeric password is still an option so you should ask for assistance if you need that
Love how people lash out over a simple change - I’m excited for the new features that the customer rep adv me - being able to transfer to 3rd party accounts is something I’ve been waiting for. Thank you Webster for the upgrade - still not happy with fees you charge but I’ll take the mobile upgrade!!

Apologies for the delayed response. Glad you like the app and are able to keep updated on your finances. We've recently added new features such as running balance, check images and new alerts. Ignored by branch manager, Jayshree. My daughter and I both applied for a secured card back on August. Jayshree handled it and said we’d hear in ten days. It was closer to a month and we were both denied. Upon consulting Jayshree about it, she assured me to get to the bottom and get back in a few days. Never heard back from her. Called her again. Well she did call back. She had been on vacation and would check into it right away. Another few weeks went by. This time she had been working in another branch but now she was back. And she would really, really find out and get back in 3 days. (I should have stopped there, right? No , I gave her another chance.) Nearly 3 weeks later I contacted her again and this time she had two deaths in the family. But assured me she had talked to someone who said my debt to income ratio was too much. ( which was what I knew in the first place and was questioning why if I was putting up $1000 would it matter.) She was going to call her associate ( this was a Thursday night) and get back to me on Monday. Never happened. Not surprised but upset with myself for trying to give her the benefit of the doubt for so long. My daughter, Jessica, and I are shopping for a new bank!
Agree with other reviews but it’s a little better now
I wrote an awful review for this at first, as you couldn’t see who exactly was charging your account, pretty darn vital info, BUT, that has been fixed! That was the big one for me, yes pin pad feature is still available. I still think the reviews defending the release are pretty laughable, the person who wrote times are changing, get over it esp made me chuckle. Yup times are changing and that’s exactly why apps are supposed to be better, more intuitive to keep up with demands, not clunky enough to call tech support haha, that’s exactly the opposite of the way times are changing...trust me I love new stuff that works and improves experiences, I work with AI so don’t tell me times are changing lol..I just couldn’t believe an app that took features away rather than enhanced the customer journey was released. It was a bad move and Webster realized it and seems to be fixing it. That alone proves the bad reviews were spot on and the people defending it and calling us “crybabies” are fake or just plain wrong. Anyways I’m upgrading from one to three stars just because the major issue seems to be fixed.
