Weights: AI Voice Covers 12+

When I first started using the Weights AI app, it was a game-changer. The tools it offered—creating voice models, generating duet AI covers, and even crafting model images—were innovative and exciting. Yes, there were bugs and glitches in the beginning, but that was understandable for such an ambitious platform. It was clear the developers are pushing the boundaries of what was possible, and the early hiccups didn’t overshadow how groundbreaking the app is.

However, with the latest update, I find myself disappointed. The new UI feels less intuitive and lacks the charm and functionality that made the app so appealing. Most frustratingly, key features like duet AI covers and creating custom models are no longer available. These features were the heart of the app for me, and their removal has made it feel less unique and less useful.

While I appreciate that updates are meant to improve user experience, this one feels like a step backward. I hope the developers listen to feedback and consider bringing back the features that made Weights AI stand out in the first place. Until then, the app no longer feels like the creative powerhouse it once was.

Been using this app for about a year I believe, and it always took only about 2-3 minutes to fully finish a song. But now it takes more than 15 minutes just for one song? Was the app just not as popular and lines not as long then? It just feels a little jarring.

(Also PS for anyone reading this who’s sad that duets are gone, go to the Weights website in Safari/Google. It still works there, and you can also still download separate parts like instrumental, output vocals etc.)

I am deeply disappointed with the recent update. Instead of enhancing the user experience, it has removed essential features and worsened functionality in several key areas. Here’s my feedback：

1. Significant Loss of Features

You can no longer view the models you’ve created on your own profile. And, the model creation feature is completely gone—or at the very least, it has become so hidden that it’s nearly impossible to find. If this was intentional, the lack of clear instructions only adds to the frustration.

The daily streak feature has been removed. For dedicated users, this was a motivating and rewarding mechanic. Its sudden disappearance feels unnecessary and poorly thought out.

2. Degraded Download Experience

Previously, users could download separate versions of audio files, including the final output, the accompaniment, and the original vocals. This flexibility was one of the key reasons I used this software. Now, only the final audio is available for download, severely limiting its usefulness for further processing.

Overall, this update feels like a step backward rather than forward. By removing core features and reducing functionality, the software now feels less capable and less user-friendly. I strongly urge the development team to listen to user feedback and restore these features as soon as possible, or risk losing users.
