Wellesley Bank Triple Play - Batting The Cycle

My wife and I have been married 30 years. Our first joint savings and checking account was with First Mutual of Boston and was bought by a big Boston Bank. We moved to South Boston Savings which was then bought by a big bank. The big Bank then merged with a national bank. Busy with kids and life in general we lost touch with personal banking services settling for big bank logo that was displayed on ATMs . A couple of years ago my son needed to open up checking and savings accounts for direct deposit. It was at this time I recalled the friendly smiles of Bank Tellers and professionalism of Bank Managers from the past. We chose Wellesley Bank for my son then younger daughter and now for ourselves in several banking areas. Do we exclusively use Wellesley Bank ? No but they have earned our business without being over baring.

In conversation with friends who mention the frustration with their current bank (big and not so big) , we sympathize because like any bad habit it is tough to break the preprogrammed cycle that starts with the direct deposit through automatic bill pay. We gladly refer to Wellesley Banks Triple Play 1) use any bank’s ATM without a fee 2) the mobile banking application’s ease of use 3) competitive banking and investment products 4) professional and welcoming individualized service. “But that’s four things?” So let’s just say WB is “Batting for the Cycle” .

Touch ID stops working

The touch ID will work once or twice, but then just stops working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have updated my phone, it still doesn’t seem to work. I emailed about the problem I’m having, but no one seems to know how to fix it.

Functional, Needs Polish

It gets the job done but the UI needs a little polish. Mobile deposits work well but the workflow is a bit clunky. Certainly not the worst banking app, but there are better ones. Mobile app is much better than the website though! Would be nice to have check deposit limit published somewhere in the app.
