Mobile deposit rrrrr

Why would the app allow someone to endorse the back of the check as “mobile deposit “ (as is called for by the bank), type in all the information of the check to make the deposit, take the picture of the front and back of the check, hit deposit button and wait for the app to think, only THEN to be instructed that it exceeds the mobile deposit limit. Why? Why not have this information available BEFORE all this is done??? Or, Why not give this warning when an exceeded limit is typed in on the deposit amount space.

The App is pretty much a joke

UNLESS you want to check your balances!! Then it’s a 5 star wonder. I was under the impression all of my electronic checks using the app were being deposited. Little did I know that since I didn’t write For deposit only to WSFCU and I was taking the picture with the WSFCU app it wasn’t being deposited. They did send me a notification but I have to log-on to my account using a PC to retrieve those notices. They do NOT appear through the app nor do they send you an email notification. I don’t log into the website because that too is a major PITA. How much more difficult can you make this?
