Description

When should you get started? Just ask Whendy. No more time math: Start with a target time and then work your way back. It’s that simple!

Time math is hard

Do you sometimes get started too late? Ever arrived late to an appointment? Almost missed a flight? Or unnecessarily waited at the gate for hours? Sometimes you know when you need to be done, and you know how long each step takes. But it’s hard to do the math in your head and know when to start. Whendy makes it easy!

Why Whendy?

For many daily tasks, a proper project planner is overkill, a calendar seems clumsy, and a to-do list won’t tell you when. Whendy is a simple, clean, text-based way to plan out when to start each needed activity to arrive on time for your crucial event.

It’s easy to make a plan

Check out the screenshots and you’ll get it right away. Just type in your target time (when will your flight board?), and list the durations of steps before (from airport to gate 90 min, get parking 45 min, …, pack 60 min). Done! Whendy tells you when each step will begin and end, and when to start with step 1.

Is Whendy for you?

• Are you frustrated by time math where you are adding or subtracting times?
• Do you like the effectiveness of a to-do list?
• Do you like to keep it simple yet well thought-through?
Then yes, Whendy is for you!

*Whendy Premium*

Calendar integration takes this app to another level

Whendy is super specialized in that it acts like a day time calculator. For those looking for time blocking solution, Whendy makes it as easy as jotting down your plans for the day and sending them to your calendar. This is honestly incredible. I wish other apps would take this concept and feature to build a more complete task and event management solution. But I’m very content with Whendy as a solution for this, as the ability to bulk export tasks/plans as events, choose which calendar they apply to, and set alarms without ever leaving the app is some of the most clever functionality I’ve seen in a while. I’m not sure what direction the developer is going to take the app, but there’s a lot of potential growth options, including reminders integration to preset tasks. Though, that’s not at all necessary. Anyway, thank your building such a great app!

Simple and does the trick!

I love it! So simple. This is exactly what I was looking for!

Great functionality

This is such a simple and useful app. I’ve been looking for something like this a long time. It’s super simple to make a plan, meeting agenda or see how long a set of activities might take. Plus the ability to set an anchor to plan forward o backward from is helpful. However, the is very limited because it’s designed for single use. You can’t plan more than 1 sequence on the main screen and you can’t save a plan to use later. My work around is to copy the text to a journal app so that I can reuse a plan. Another enhancement that would be great is the ability to copy the plan without the duration at the end (to just copy the time and activity). That would make copying the results into more professional communications easer to do with minimal editing.
