Appreciation and Suggestions for the Whisper AI iOS App

First off, a huge thank you to the app developers for integrating Whisper AI into an iOS app notes system. It's commendable how Whisper's artificial intelligence LLM has been seamlessly adapted for a mobile-friendly user experience. This app is certainly a must-download for its innovation and utility.

Feedback on Duration:
The current transcription window is capped at 15 minutes, which, in my experience, is a tad limiting. Extending this duration would greatly enhance user convenience and application versatility.

Feature Suggestion:
An additional enhancement I'd recommend is the ability to transcribe external voice memos and recordings directly into the app. This functionality would provide significant value by allowing users to convert pre-existing audio files into text, bypassing the need to record voice notes directly through the app.

Closing Thoughts:
Aside from the points mentioned, the app truly stands out. Great job to everyone involved in its development. Your efforts are making a tangible difference, and I eagerly look forward to future updates. Keep up the excellent work!

Glad I saw this on the Six Colors blog. I have used a siri shortcut to email myself quick notes for years, but that was limited to only what would fit in the subject line. This app goes miles further! I do have two suggestions, though. First, not being able to take a note in my car through carplay is a big limiting factor. I will still have to use my old shortcut for that. I'd love to see better integration with shortcuts to allow note-taking while driving. Second, I'd like some customization of the email subject line. The auto-generated Whisper Memos text in brackets and two emoji take up needless space. I'd rather see more of my note there. Or better yet, get an AI-generated subject line that is relevant to my memo. Otherwise, great app! I'm subscribing right now!

UPDATE: Thanks for adding more control options to the subject line! Definitely makes it cleaner and allows more of the note to show in the subject line.

I would have given this 5 stars, were it not the expense of using the "pro" version. You only get a few recordings on the free version before needing to switch.

In order to really use an app like this, it must become your "go to" app for recording messages. Unfortunately, that means you must use the "pro" version.
