Description
Got tired of spam SMSs about elections, promotions and other scam? Block them, defining stop-words or phone number patterns.
No registration, no user data collection. The app works completely offline.
Try the app for free, adding up to 3 phone number patterns and stop-words.
Full version supports unlimited count of patterns and phrases - you can block whole area codes or even countries.
Additionally:
- block text messages from short numbers;
- block messages, containing web-link, email;
- backup application data to iCloud.
Please don't forget to give permissions to filter SMS and MMS to WideProtect SMS Blocker extension through 'iPhone Settings -> Messages -> Unknown & Spam'.
The app functionality is available via one-time payments OR auto-renewable subscriptions, and supports Family Sharing.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase, subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal, subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Works great with one flaw
I get a lot of spam texts in an election season so this app is a life saver in most instances EXCEPT when it comes to my Apple Watch. I never get notifications from spam texts on the phone itself, but I still get them on my watch. If not for this issue, the app would get my full five stars.

My phone is fun again!!!
I was getting slammed with SPAM sms messages, about 15 or so a day! The previous owner of my number must have signed up for anything and everything. I was at the point of changing my number when I stumbled across the app in a Reddit post. After installing, buying for the ridiculously low price of a onetime charge for 1.99$ and adding a dozen or so black listed key words ; my phone is fun again!!!
Full disclosure-it didn't work for me at first , make sure you follow all steps at allow. I emailed the dev 2 separate times and both times I had a reply and an answer with an hour or so!!! That's unheard of but appreciated for sure.

Did not work as advertised. Emailed got no answers
I tried to block a bunch of text messages and it came from a +1 (646) number. I tried to put a + in front of the 1 but it won’t let me so I had to put 1 646 * and 1 646-* which supposed to block all numbers start with +1 646. Well text messages with that same number still get through since there is no way for me to put a + in front of the one. The number pad did have a + sign but it won’t let you enter it. I sent the author an email and it has been quite a few days. There is no answer. I bought both programs from him so I will try a different app and get my money back hopefully.
I did grant the app permission in Setting.
