Wifi Pro 2 4+

You know when you are watching a movie from the 90s and the actor is browsing archaic websites. This might have been one of those, unchanged and sold off to unassuming homeowners who liked the hardware but didn’t realize the app was pure trash. It has made a $5k purchase a daily pain. We have to remotely open the gate for construction workers that are in and out and the app will just turn off after 20 seconds. After 2 viewing periods, the whole app just shuts off. Then you have to reload, and I don’t care what fast internet you have, it’s not a fast process. Then, to make matters worse, the new phone we had wouldn’t pair to the system and the installer who does this daily, had to spend over 3 hours fixing it and said he was frustrated with the whole app and setup. Needless to say we received an expensive bill for his learning period. He had to actually uninstall his own Wifi pro apps on his and his employees phones as the app kept trying to connect to them, which actually concerns me regarding safety.

This app is horrible. It is slow and delayed.. despite my fast internet connection. The user experience is ridiculous. Even as a relatively young person who is very familiar with technology, I have no idea what the icons mean or how to navigate through them. This app belongs in the 1990s. It is making me hate my gate. I would’ve never purchased this intercom if I knew it would be this inconvenient to use. I no longer get notifications when someone calls from the intercom unless I am actively in the app. I check my phone settings and all the notifications are on. I wish there was a large platform that sold they’re products so that reviews could be made and they could be held accountable for such trash. This is the worst app I’ve ever used. No exaggeration.

Yep only seems to work if you’re on the Wi-Fi net work that the gate opener is on which means you have to be in the house with the gate which makes this a completely useless app the whole purpose of the app is to be able to answer calls and open your gate remotely when you are not at home when you were at work or traveling! Furthermore, it’s completely unacceptable that they have not included a software update in the past two years so that it doesn’t even work with iPhone anymore when you spend a fortune on a gate opener and Hardware, you expect the software to work compatibly with a Hardware it’s an absolute waste of money!
