WildEdibles, by "Wildman" Steve Brill

Going foraging? Whether you will be setting out to cautiously explore your own lawn or lead your 100th field trip into the wilderness, WildEdibles, by "Wildman" Steve Brill, is a terrific take-along resource. Novice foragers will find its clear photos and detailed plant descriptions a real confidence-builder; experienced wild foodies may discover tasty edibles they have yet to sample; and those of us who teach can suddenly acquire the ability to show students close-ups of the plant before us in flower, fruit, or in its autumn glory. As with any app or book, it's wise to cross-check safety information with another reliable resource (such as the Peterson Guides to Edible Wild Plants and Wild Medicinal Plants.) With that understood, wherever you stand on the foraging path, have no doubt that Wildman's wonderful app will enhance and enrich your experience. As a lifelong forager and teacher of wild ways for 30+ years, I highly recommend it. --Terry-Anya Hayes, writer, herbalist, wild foods educator

Love the new look!

I purchased the app a while back before the update. There was a lot of great information, but it was a little buggy. The new version seems to work much better and looks great! Definitely was worth waiting for. Would recommend this app to anyone with an interest in foraging our culinary uses of wild edibles.

It’s back and again my go-to source for wild edibles!

This app has been my trusted go-to for 10 years! With Apple updates breaking past versions, it now works seemingly and is rock solid and full of valuable info , i.e., identification, harvesting guidance, recipes...

I highly recommend this app for beginners and advanced foragers.
Happy hunting. :-)
