Wingr: The Social Dating App Ratings and Reviews

I usually find it hard to meet someone on a dating app. It’s easy to find someone I’m attracted to, but as soon as we start a conversation, things seem to go dry pretty quickly. It’s sometimes difficult for me to connect with them because I’ve never seen them in person. I don’t know how they say things, what it looks like for them to be joking or to be serious, and without that, I find myself losing interest pretty quickly. I imagine it’s the same for them on the other end. Wingr eliminates any type of miscommunication or mixed signals with the “Set the Mood” feature, which no other app has. This way you know how you and the person you are talking to are both feeling and how to approach each conversation. Some people are just terrible at communication, and you can’t tell how someone is feeling through a phone so this feature helps a ton!

This app helps to eliminate so much of the “guesswork” that can be frustrating and sometimes disheartening when it comes to online dating apps and social romance platforms. It just makes sense! The people that know me well (friends, family, etc) can filter out the B.S. and this way, I’m not wasting time planning and meeting someone that isn’t even close to a match for me. And I can become the matchmaker and help my friends in this way, too. Great idea and nice execution with this app - I would recommend it for others to try out!

I really appreciate an app that differentiates itself from the rest of the pack. I had given up on the others because it was the same people year after year. Wingr opened up a new dating pool; better quality and more attractive men. Also diverse!! Makes it easy for my friends to set me up with my "type". The set my mood feature is THE best. Very excited to see the app grow

I love how I can go on the single side and swipe for friends. This app is perfect for a close knit friend group trying to help each other out. Plus, being able to set the mood has helped my friends get out of sticky mixed messages. This app provides services for free that usually cost an arm and a leg on other dating apps. Dont wait! Just get it🤩

This app has definitely changed my view on dating apps. Swiping through a lot of profiles is cool if that’s your thing, but I’m big in having an actual conversation with someone. From what I see so far, that’s what this app is all about. I’ve had matches on this app but more importantly, I’ve had conversations that go past “hey what’s up”

I love the idea of being able to loop my friends in to my dating life without having to send screen shot after screen shot of profiles. So far, I enjoy setting the mood and the ability to use two different mode, one for me, and one for my friends. Cannot wait for more people to utilize this app.

Popular but ancient dating apps were being used more as a time filler or video game than as a medium for a true connection.

Somehow Wingr had me not just responding but I was able to have true conversations at just my pace.

Wingr's entire set up creates easy and exciting conversational icebreakers (Profile Statements). The “Set the Mood” chat feature adds tone that many text conversations lack. Displaying which photo or profile statement my matches “Liked” adds in more flavor and context.

I really like this app because even though I’m in a committed relationship, I can still swipe through matches and help my single friends. It’s fun to play matchmaker. My single friends also enjoy it because sometimes they need an extra push/encouragement from a friend to go out with someone new.

In a time where it’s often difficult to meet up with friends, whether it’s schedules meshing or Covid/ life getting in the way, Wingr allows us the opportunity to still play wingman. Who better to cut the guessing out of the dating game than the people who know you best? Love this app.

This app has so many unique features. It’s way ahead of the dating app game and I’m excited to have my friends be a part of the matchmaking process. The Set the Mood feature is a BREAKTHROUGH feature that certainly sets this app apart from other dating apps. These guys are on to something big!
