Not bad
Not a bad app but it needs a bit of work. The overlays are ok but they can’t be re-sized or repositioned on the photos. There are very few shapes and the position of the photo within them can’t be re-adjusted. Very nice fonts and good stickers.
Lacks adjustability
There are a lot of interesting overlays and stickers but what good are they if they’re stuck at one size? I applied gold dust and it sat like a blob in the middle of my image so I tried wings. Oh dear. My image was overwhelmed by monster sized feathered wings. Maybe I can change these sizes but a quick glance at reviews tell me otherwise.
There’s something I really appreciate about the pricing structure- the in-app purchases are for sale. Yay! I really don’t like it when my only options are to rent or ditch the app completely. It can be so hard to justify the cost of rentals with $25/year here, $50 there, another $60 for that one… that’s on top of Apple News, the New York Times, Washington Post… and good lord, did Elon Musk institute a subscription scheme on the app Formerly Known as Twitter? I don’t expect every app to be free (like a lot of people who complain do) but I don’t want to pay constantly. I’d happily buy all the mysterious stuff for this app - I can never tell what the in-app purchases really are because they’re never the same in the app as on the description page- but the app has to work.
One more thing. Instead of thumbnails to choose filters, overlays, textures, etc you have to scroll down to very large demos. Some of the categories have thumbnails so it’s weird that they don’t all.
NEEDS UPDATING-GRAPHICS STILL SAY 2018
Wish this App would be updated! Some of the graphics have the date 2018 in them! In a few days it’ll be 2023!! Also it would be nice to access ones individual photo albums to select the picture they’d like to use. Have no idea rhyme or reason how this app chooses which personal individual photos/files are available to create . Like this app.. but would LOVE it if these updates/improvements were done!
