Wise Photos will improve your photos forever! Wise Photos overlays 14 artistic composition rules on your own photos. You align the elements in the photo scene with multiple composition rules that have been used by artists for centuries. These composition rules are widely used in photography and are now available to you easily and instantly with the Wise Photos app. For each composition rule, you'll find helpful tips, guides, and examples. Wise Photos guides you to make your photos beautiful!

Q: Is the Wise Photos app free?
A: The Wise Photos app is a freemium app. You get to use the first 2 composition rules for free. This means that you can save your photos with the free composition rules.

Q: How can I use all the composition rules?
A: You can purchase the Composition Rule Package, which will give you access to all 14 composition rules. You only need to purchase the package once, and you will own them forever with no subscription needed.

Q: How can I purchase the Composition Rule Package?
A: You can tap the Options button (the circle with three dots) at the bottom right corner of the screen, then tap Get Composition Rule Package.

Q: Do I need a credit card?
A: No, the purchase will be processed by Apple via your iTunes account.

Q: I purchased Wise Photos in the past. Do I have to purchase the Composition Rule Package?
A: No, since you purchased Wise Photos in the past, you will have access to all 14 composition rules. You MUST make a Restore Purchases from the Options menu.

Q: I would like to use a camera with composition rules. Do you have an app for this?

Thank you, everyone, for loving the Wise Photos app to make beautiful photos and paintings!
1. We have added the new "Left to Right" artistic composition rule.
2. Now you have 14 artistic composition rules to explore.
3. Now you can rotate images right within Wise Photos.

Easy to use and it does exactly the purpose.

You can scroll through lots of compositions rules and see which one best fits your photo. It’ll save two photos: one that you edited and then another with the grid which is helpful for referencing which grid you used. I also like the guidelines provided for each rule. It shows quickly in detail where to focus your subject and which types of subjects are best to photograph for that composition.

Could be better

Not pleased with paying $5 just for the bottom of the image to be obscured by a white brick that reads “dynamic symmetry”. It’s also weird I can’t overlay multiple grids. Dynamic symmetry has lines that go through the X’s. In order to replicate that I have to save the dynamic symmetry grid, trim the “wise photos” tag on the bottom, re-upload, then apply the cubed grid. I feel that if you’re going to charge people, it should be a little smoother to use those features and we shouldn’t be subject to the bottom of the photos being covered.

Improving my photo composition

I've been wanting my photos to have more impact, so I decided to learn more about composition. After taking photos, I review them with the handy guidelines in the app and adjust them until they look amazing. Best thing, the app makes 2 copies of the "after" photo, 1 with the rule information and 1 without it. I totally recommend Wise Photos!
