Ok I Guess

Functionally the app is a good idea. I like how it keeps track of lifts and workouts, and how we can se past history. When it works.

However, the app is unreliable. Last couple weeks I have been unable to record my lifts or workouts, see past history, or even log into the app. When the app is working it often gets stuck on a screen. You put in all your lifts then it is stuck and have to force quit and enter in everything all over again.

This app is horrible if you need glasses or any type of accessibility. The text does not scale with iOS, and the text is tiny! There are no options to zoom or make the text larger. Try it on an iPad and it’s even worse. Big screen and test is same size as the smallest iPhone. I don’t wear glasses and still think it’s small and hard to see.

Furthermore the app is desperately in need of an update. Would be great if the text could scale, or turn phone sideways to see it better, or be bigger on ipad. Support for current phones would be nice too. Guess that’s all for nothing if we can’t even login though.

Like a box of chocolates “you never know what you’ll get.”

My CrossFit uses this app and I really appreciate the features that keep you lifting numbers and your various metcon times and scores. I also think the platform is really simple to navigate.
HOWEVER!! This app is terribly unreliable, I will sign into class at home on WIFI, lock my phone, get to the gym and try to log the lift; no longer on WIFI and I routinely have to close the app and reopen it to log a weight or time IF the app wants to work. This gets kinda frustrating seeing that there is only so much time for class and when transitioning between lifting and the WOD. Most of the time I end up recording everything in my notes on my phone because I don’t want to deal with the reliability of the app. Then when I have more downtime later in the day, I’ll enter scores, weights, etc.

My main point, I would think for how long this app has been around, how widely (I believe) it is used, and what (I understand) gyms pay, this app would be essentially flawless. Similar to WHOOP or MyFitness Pal or Strava, etc.
I hate leaving negative reviews, but this app is terribly unreliable.

Such a Mess

This app is functional in that I can reserve and sign into class and then add my results...most of the time...unless the entire app is down again. Other than that this app is buggy, slow, crashes constantly, and isn’t especially good at organizing my performance history in a way that lets me recall it easily. Sure, I can look up a lift in a comically long drop down menu (forget just having a search function) but looking up a WOD based on a particular component of the workout? Forget it. Also, the whiteboard is frequently a jumble and ranks incorrectly. My personal favorite was the day that every woman athlete in my box took fourth place for the day. Bottom line, this app stinks and developer promises for improvement have yet to bear fruit. I have started charting my performance in a back up excel sheet for the day this app inevitably bites it and loses all my data.
