Wolfenstein 3D Classic makes use of an all new control system designed for the iPhone by technical visionary and id Software founder, John Carmack. Needs some things

For one the controls aren't very good and can be quite difficult to use. Also if I were to try and start a new game I am unable to because the screen isn't big enough on my iPhone 4S!

The free version was a lot like the original in the 80s-cool

I played this free version and it was a nice trip down memory lane for me, this was the first of the first-person shooters back in the 1980s, me and the engineers at the place I worked all played this game, at lunch time only of course, he-he. Anyway, it was fun then and it was fun now but I only was able to go a couple of levels with the free version so I'm going for the platinum one now. It is different on an iPad but you get the hang of it quickly.

Needs work

This is the best classic game from the early 90s ever made. However playing on an iPad Air 2 this game crashes a lot. Also when you get into the highest levels towards the end of the game it doesn't move you from one level to the next and you have to start each big boss level with a small pistol and 10 rounds of ammo which just isn't going to happen. When trying to resume a game it force closes several times and is frustrating. Also needs music and effects volume controls rather than an all in 1 system.
