In the short period of time that I have utilized this app(two days) I have been messaged by over six sex workers, five scammers and requested to upgrade to VIP consistently while using the app for free. It seems as if the developers are more interested in U2 upgrade the VIP when they have an even fixed the free members version yet.. the developers should be spending more time, weeding out the sex workers and scammers instead of trying to develop ways to get you to spend money on an app that isn’t worth it in the free version. Why would I spend any kind of money on VIP when you can’t fix your free version. Not willing to spend money on VIP to see all of the likes that are out of when I have no doubt the majority of them are sex workers and scammers liking my account so I will be tempted to pay for VIP services. It’s not worth taking the chance to view the out of focus that I’ve received when I can see what service I get in the free members area.

I downloaded this app because I wanted to see if it was any different than the other dating apps that I have been on and unfortunately it wasn't any better. Unlike the other apps that give you a little more wiggle room with certain features, I feel this app purposely limits you to have you buy into the "VIP" membership. I also hate that you are limited to how many people you can swipe through and have to wait till the next day for it to reset. At least with other apps, you can swipe endlessly until you run out of potential matches. Again, you can get past this if you upgrade to "VIP". I also feel like there is unnecessary features like moments and the competitions. This serves no purpose and if anything they're used to promote lewd monetized content off of the app (OF). Not to mention that your pictures get automatically shared to 'moments' anytime you upload one to your profile. I found this out when I logged in to see I had notifications and saw that my pictures had been shared without me sharing them. The overall feel of the app gives TEMU/SHEIN vibes with how content is presented. Not all is bad, I will say though that I like the 'personal details' section because it's more detailed than other apps, my only suggestion would be to add a political and relationship type option. I would also suggest adding more prompts as the ones that you choose from don't let you fully express yourself.

So here’s the thing, I’ve had this app for a day. In that time, my location was showing Canada even after allowing the app to view my location. So I was seeing people in Canada.The other issue is the cost, understanding the need to charge people but you literally can’t do a thing unless you’re paying for premium. The issue with paying for this app is the lack of effort they require from people when it comes to their profiles. Very limited space to write about yourself. Vague questions, lack of personal questions and this leaves people to not even try, which then lets me know these men are here for a hook up because they think all fat women are easy. If that’s the standard and expectation I can use another app for free to yield the exact same results. So why would a pay for this? Especially at nearly $20 just for a month, even just to try VIP that’s way too expensive for what little is offered. I’m sure there are other features unlocked with premium, however this app is not worth that premium price point.Overall I’m bored with this app, and even more nervous using an app aimed at people with my body type than I am using a mainstream app. This lack of consideration and thought when developing this app could potentially be dangerous and damaging to its patrons. It’s unfortunate because they were on the right track but this is terrible.

I have been happily using this app for quite some time now. I wanted to start fresh so I recently deleted my profile and that's when things got a little weird when, I reopened to start new. For starters I was getting profiles from people who are more than 100 miles away from me. Almost 2 Hours away. I had this new profile for maybe 2 months and then out of nowhere I was booted from the app for some kind of violation. I did not have any kind of provocative photos. I was not harassing anyone for money or anything like that, so I can imagine what I was booted for. The only thing that really came to mind was that somebody was upset And reported my profile. Fine... I decided to reopen My profile. I don't know what I did in less than 4 hours, but my account was booted again. Now my issue with this is,what could I have done in less than 4 hours to get my account rejected again? There is zero warning. No review of my profile seemed to have been done. And there's no way for me to get in contact with customer service to fix this. I'm really upset about this because I genuinely enjoy the woo plus app out of all that dating apps that I have tried This has been a great app to me as far as body positivity goes. I wish to have my profile that can be able to continue and meet a potentially great person.

It started okay-ish, very basic then there was some type of contest for curviest lady awards where there were livestreams with “near by” settings which were all just drugged up people welcoming people to the stream and thanking people for gifts (no other words). Absolutely zero engagement otherwise, I still don’t know what that was but it lasted 3 days and was completely wiped? There isn’t even a page for live streams anymore. There’s also something called “moments” which is a page that is basically like instagram in 2010 where people post photos where only woman receive likes? Even if the photo is clearly of a fake chick whose likely has been dead since 2010? It was mainly men posting in moments which to be fair were far more attractive than average and I’m saying that as a straight male. They’d get either zero likes or 1 from profiles that couldn’t be accessed because “either the account has been deleted, or you may have been blocked“ and once I seen a post in moments from a lady with the caption #Christmas2023 I couldn’t tell which post was years old or recent because there aren’t any dates, nor is there a clear indication of recent activity on any accounts. I gave it about a week and finished swiping everyone in my entire state in 2 days… and every time I did go on I just forgot I had the app only to realize that absolutely nothing had changed… like I don’t even know how to describe it without sounding crazy, but it legitimately seemed like a wallpaper app. And you only had five wallpapers to choose from, does that make any sense? Idk man my advice? use a burner email and don’t upload a real photo. Also do not allow access to your images or camera… good luck…

It was a solid app like 2 years ago but like any smaller dating app that gets a little traction it’s been infested with bots and fishers now. For someone who is younger it’s really easy to spot, spammed telegram and or Snapchat in every spot they can write, different photos of people (photos of stolen accounts on the app) ect. I like to think it’s as easy for me to parse real accounts from fake ones but in reality it’s not for a good percentage of older people.I have a real concern about these issues and how it will effect this apps user base especially bad. It’s a plus size dating app. Plus size people typically don’t have the confidence and or daily positive interactions skinny people do. So when these scammers come along and give plus size people attention it could lead to very bad results. There is a bunch of other things about the app too, all the promotional stuff on the app uses AI now. AI pictures of woman because devs can’t be bothered to even use stock models. There is a comment “feature” which is full of the gross, border line sexual harassment comments from chubby chasing men. So much for a plus size dating app when it’s infested with normal size men trying to take advantage of plus size woman’s insecurities.

This is a horrible site and not very user-friendly. Your ability to set search parameters to look for potential people of interest within your area is extremely limited unless you pay to become a “VIP” member. I feel like everything on this site is rigged to get you to pay for a membership rather than exploring it to see if other people are using this site that live relatively close to you, particularly if you live in a smaller city. I would be happy to pay for a membership if I could see some value in it but as I mentioned before, the search parameters are so limiting (without paying) that it’s almost impossible if you live in a smaller metropolitan area. Additionally, it’s full of old profiles from people no longer using the service (I have a friend very surprised and upset to know her profile was still on there)and the customer service is absolutely horrendous; they’re impossible to reach. They have never once responded to more than a half a dozen email requests I’ve made about how to terminate and delete my account from their site. Absolutely zero response other than an automatically generated message that says the same thing every time! Stay away from this site!!!

The app is great, it works, there’s a decent amount of people, even for where I live! But.... as soon as I got the vip pass, the way you search to see people close by or far away changed completely! Before the pass, I was able to see people from closest to furthest away! I seen tons of people just 1,2 to 10 miles away, but all that changed once my pass was activated. Once my pass was on, my search was almost all random, there was a ton of people who were about an hour away at the top of my list, tried to changed the distance in miles but it’s lowest is 100 for some reason (distance search tool activates when using pass) no matter what I did to my search tools I couldn’t get it to revert to how it was prior to paying for my pass. I reported this in feedback but got no help but some response that essentially said I didn’t know how to use the search features. Though they are the same on all dating apps. Save your money folks and stay away from VIP

I thought I would enjoy this app but it’s even worse than others that I’ve tried. I think the main issue is that people can message you whether you like them or not. It makes no sense. Why is there a swipe left or right mechanic if you don’t even use it properly. Another thing that bothers me is that you can choose your favorite things to help match you with people but when one of your matches is just “Mexican cuisine” or “Cola”, chances are you two won’t actually have anything in common. When I started, I also had to try to find out by searching how to add more information on my profile and more photos. There should be a more obvious way to change all of that (and not a prompt after you’ve swiped so many times before). And one thing that doesn’t matter too much is that you should be able to pick from an array of questions to put on your profile, not just the same 5 everyone else has (if they even answer it to begin with). It’s just sad that I downloaded this with another well known dating app at the same time and the other one I am finding people with more things in common than an app that has you fill out things you would have in common with someone. I also hate that everything is blocked by a paywall. Didn’t find anyone you liked today because this app is terrible at “matching?” Well you can get more swipes if you pay! Want to get people who are close to you? Well you can do that if you pay! Want to see who liked you instead of just putting it in the rotation of people that you can like or dislike, well you can pay for that too! I know that this has many stars and there’s people who absolutely love it, but if you’re on here to find any sort of actual relationship, and you’re not open to finding someone that has nothing in common with you other than you both like coffee, I really don’t think it’s worth your time.

I’ve used WooPlus randomly for over two years. At first, I met a lot of great women who were my type and had a lot of dates. However, this app has not been as successful recently. There are not as many people on the app and not as many quality matches regarding what I am looking for. There are a lot of scammers and fake accounts. A flaw of the app is that there is no actual verification system. I can’t tell if WooPlus’s latest shortcomings are part of the lower dating app use in general. Or if the user base of WooPlus in my area is low. Also, this app attracts the wrong type of people. There is a function to share “moments.” I find that people use the app to post moments and get likes and validation instead of wanting to date. I loved this app at first, and it had a lot of success. However, the same issues remain, and the user base is not as diverse as it used to be. It's not all of the app’s fault, but it could improve my limiting “moment” posts and have an actual identity verification system.
