When I originally installed the app there used to be a little either “waiting” or “dispensed” indicator next to the feeding times for each one, indicating whether or not it had been dispensed yet. They removed this, maybe because they figured you would notice that on your own based on the time? Anyway, it was a nice feature, I liked it, maybe bring it back and add color coding as well like red for waiting and green for dispensed.
I also wish there was a way to do two way voice communication, such as the microphone and speaker active together, kind of like a phone call. At the end of the day all I’m interested in is getting the cat fed on time and being able to control it remotely with my phone, which this app achieves. I just wish it was a little more fine tuned and polished.

A few years ago I bought eh first generation version of this product and I was never able to get it to work or set up the company graciously accepted my return no harm now foul. But I really missed having an auto pet feeder I was a pet net user for like 5 years until they went out of business and bricked my machine. when i discovered the nEw generation of wopet had come out I got so excited the nEw feeder took 5 minutes to setup on work and it worked the very first time I tried to do it. That’s a testimony to this companies hard work. Apple doesn’t make it wash to set up smart devices and many products from larger companies are much more cumbersome to set up than this one. It was a breeze! The app won’t blow you away with cosmetics or flashy graphics but it is very well laid out and thoughtfully designed. There are some weird phrasing’s like to remove a pet profile it says “remove binding” not sure what that means. But this app is so easy to use it’s very comforting to just have something work. Video quality is great the speaker is very clear and crisp so it play my audio recordings cuarto during feeding times and I love watching the video clips. We use this app with the 2019 White Wopet SmartFeeder (with video). It sends notifications for scheduled feedings and I can access the video camera any time without issue. To have it connected to more than one phone (device), both devices must be logged into the Wopet app with the same email and password. I contacted customer support with questions we had and they have been quick to respond more than once. I don’t expect the app to be able to auto record for each time our cats come to eat because the unit does not have a motion sensor, and the app would be limited to the capability of the feeder. Same with night vision and notifications of food levels, it does not have an infrared camera so we got a motion sensor light separately and don’t expect an app upgrade to provide night vision or the ability to monitor food levels. I do agree that a good app update would be the ability to set a different schedule for different days.
