Word Bits: A Word Puzzle Game 4+

This game is everything I want in a word game. It’s challenging, fun, and not too fancy.
I’m on level seven and some puzzles have been easy, while others have been super-tough. So far, I’ve only used clues in 2 puzzles. Just push yourself to keep trying. There’s no risk in being wrong, and, if it’s a word, but not part of the puzzle, they’re bonus words—which you get points for!
The game is minimalistic—not fussy or colorful or full of distractions like cute animals, enemies to fend off, maps of islands or villages. You just play the game you came to play.
If you’re looking for game to compete against other players, rack up a bazillion points and be rewarded with shooting stars and fireworks, keep looking. You won’t get that here, but you also don’t get a barrage of ads to pay for all that “cool” stuff. (I think there’s one ad per level
The fun is in challenging yourself and the reward is keeping your mind sharp.

I played and finished this game shortly after it was released. Recently I reset it and played again. It remains one of my all time favorite word games. It is highly addictive and yes, some levels are challenging, but I have never had to purchase coins. I enjoy finding as many words on each level to earn coins, and if stuck, I take a break and fresh eyes usually help. I wish they would add more levels.

This game is interesting, but the payouts for solving are too little, while the coin sacrifices for hints is way too much high. If you only win 25 coins but each hint for one letter to a word times several words for the clue is 40 coins, you go backwards fast, especially since the clues get really subtle in higher levels. So the challenge is fun but there’s no satisfying way to move on if you’re stuck and out of coins.
It’s clear this game was devised to intrigue the player and force purchase of coins to keep playing. Since it’s just a gouge and it’s frustrating, my choice was to delete it and stop playing. If I earned more than I used for hints, I would have enjoyed the challenge. Not worth the coin to play.
