Discover the power of the runes - an ancient power that can aid you in your journey through the Dungeon. Acquire loot and use it to grow your power and discover the secrets hidden within the dungeon. Escape and flaunt your glory to the world on the leaderboard. Try a harder difficulty, find more secret treasure or go for a higher score in a fresh run. Each playthrough is randomized for endless replay-ability!

Spread throughout the Dungeon are mysterious events where you can utilize the loot you've acquired throughout the Dungeon. Trade with the mysterious cyclops merchant, use your keys to open chests, and more!

- Fixed a small bug that caused the 'you haven't been using your runes' notification to pop up even if you were using your runes.

Fun game!

I like this game very much! If you skip the exit, you can continue playing while keeping all your runes and perks. (Don’t exit on your first play-through.) The only thing I don’t like is the fact that once you escape there is no option to exit the map. You have to close the game in order to start again. But this is an innovative game, and well worth the price. (And it has NO ADS!)

Fun and weirdly comforting

Traveling deeper into a dungeon to complete word puzzles with runes and power-ups is an easy win for me. But the game has a very unique and comforting atmosphere that makes want to come back whenever I feel like killing time and making some words dark in the dungeon. The art style and sound design is super unique and clearly A LOT of love was put into it. Can’t recommend this game enough!

My god

I can’t believe I’ve finally found it…something I’ve been searching for ever since….well, you know. Right when I was about to give up, when I was going to turn away from the pain, this game showed up in my life like a deus ex machina and lifted me from my misery. Thank you, Word Dungeons, some day I hope to return the favor. Great game.
