Word Search Unlimited Free 4+

The name "Nia" was repeated twice in a puzzle. When I selected one of them, nothing seemed to happen, so I tried selecting it several times only to later find out when I looked down the word have been crossed off the list. Later on while searching for another word I noticed there was a second placement of the word "Nia" and it had been highlighted. Other than that, I'm enjoying the game.

It’s a basic word search. The words are grouped into themes, they’re easy words, and there’s variety in the length of the words. Only a few are written on the diagonal, or backwards, or overlapping each other, so it’s easy to play, not too challenging, and relaxing. However, it has a major flaw. It has ads on the screen while playing. They’re distracting but that’s not the biggest problem. It’s easy to trigger the ad by accident, which opens Safari to the vendor’s web page. Then you have to search for a tiny link in the upper left corner that returns you to the game. But meanwhile all your PROGRESS IS WIPED OUT and you have to start over. (Sometimes I could swear I wasn’t even near the ad and it suddenly opened Safari.) There are so many good word search apps available, it isn’t worth struggling with this annoying glitch. I’m deleting this one and downloading something else.

It used to work very well. I hadn’t used it in a while and I tried to use it today and every time I touched the screen to highlight a word it would shut down and boot me out to my iPhone Home Screen. I even deleted the app and re-added it but I got the same result. Now it’s deleted for good. Very disappointing.

However, I will download a different word search app and try playing the new app once I find one I like.

I have an IPhone 11 with the latest software upgrade. So I don’t get why it won’t work.
