Word Superhero is designed by a speech-language pathologist who has spent decades understanding the best ways to help children learn and retain vocabulary. In this app, children can choose from different categories and rescue items as they are blown around in a storm. After the items are captured, they must put the items back to their proper places by categorizing them in numerous different ways. Learning vocabulary this way not only helps children learn vocabulary but it also gives them the proper "filing cabinets" to find words when they need them.

Only good for subcategories

This app does not allow you to sort objects by category. Only once you have selected objects in one category can you sub categorize. For example you can cannot select a car vs a peach to put into the transportation category. It will, however, let you sort animals by location or type such mammals.

Not happy

The app keeps closing in the middle of sorting.
