WordCount Plus 4+

There are many use cases for this simple but essential app. Lately I’ve been using it to pre-draft tweets for Twitter.

I would love it if in addition to giving us the counts for the full page, the app could give us counts for any selected portion of the page.

As a writer, I work in daily word count quotas. When I got Evernote for mobile (which I use to write my novel), I searched and searched for the word count option, seeing as it is available on the desktop version. However, I couldn't find it. This solved all my problems!

Unfortunately, it did crash once :( But I don't know if that was the app or my phone, and seeing as it only happened once, I'm going to give this wonderful application the benefit of the doubt and say it was my fault ;)

I highly recommend for anyone who needs a simple text editor with word count!

Thank you for a very simple free app that counts characters. At one point, it saved my text for several months in its own buffer. But I don't think it counts on anything like that. Well you can count on it, but don't rely on it. LOL! :-)

I also rely on it stripping all the ugly, excess HTML formatting if I copy and paste something from a webpage. This is a really nice feature, since the notes app no longer strips HTML.
