  • Impossible and non refundable

    ScarDAL

I wasted hours and money trying to use a toolset and ai that just don’t work. It is so complicated to hear and e companies who focus on helping. Easy to set up. Impossible to load content. Not at all intuitive. Hoping bank will help me get refund. And best of all. Support chat doesn’t respond but email suggestions and requests for feedback are relentless. I gave up and cancelled all my work, my account and gave up the domain I bought. Highly recommend alternatives.

    Developer Response

I’m really sorry this was your experience — that’s not what we want for anyone. Setup and content loading should be smooth, and it’s clear we missed the mark here. If you’re open to it, our support team can look into what went wrong at mobile-support+jetpackapp@automattic.com. We’d genuinely like to help. Look forward to your email!

  • Recent updates are amazing

Thank you for the recent updates!!! I actually think it’s easier to use than the website- which is great but I hope the website also gets better and Wordpress doesn’t become an app only thing...for longer posts I love to use my laptop and the web version because it easier to type a long post, but right now id rather type it on a google doc or something and copy and paste on my phone using the app. It’s very user friendly and the interface has been updated so much- it’s finally worthy of using and enjoying it. Before, the app looked so outdated and had limited capabilities- it’s finally been updated so you can virtually do anything you can online using your phone. I had some trouble uploading images but I believe this was an issue with a plugin and it was fixed. Sometimes the publish button doesn’t work properly and I have to save as a draft and go to my computer to publish, but I’m confident that has been fixed with the newest update (just downloaded so fingers crossed). Thank you sooo much for finally giving the app the attention it deserves!! Especially for the many creatives who use Wordpress, it’s important to be able to create and update our pages and posts on the go when we are inspired. So many times I have ideas that get written down in my phone notes and they never get turned into posts like i planned to- now I can open it up and make sure it gets done the minute I’m inspired. Thanks again!

  • Wordpress took me from clueless to professional overnight!!

    First Time Blogger

I have openly bashed, avoided, and even ridiculed blogging at times. However the reality is, Blogging is the modern day press and let's face it...Blogs are here to stay. Everything from fashion, sports, health and hip hop...and everything else in between. Whether you are promoting a business, selling a book, giving relationship advice or publishing a public diary, the social phenomenon known as blogging is one of the best ways to gain notoriety, followers, fans, and customers. I was clueless when it came to starting a blog. I knew I could write, I've always loved it in fact, but I was unsure if I would be able to express myself on a public forum. That's where WordPress came in. This free application was not only easy to use, but the tools, functionality, and setup turned me from a clueless rookie blogger to feeling like the sky was the limit on my potential. What's even more amazing is anytime I have an idea for one of my blogs, I can start a draft right from my phone, even on the go so those light bulb ideas that come and go just as quickly are never lost. In just 3 days I have gained several followers and have written more than I have the last 3 months combined. Thank you WordPress for sparking my creative drive again...I recommend this to anyone looking to start a blog. From first time blogger to beat selling author...WordPress is the easiest blog app...don't believe me just start your free blog today!!!

  • Has Almost Everything You Need!

    Spice1989!@!

I use this app both on my iPad 2 and iphone 4. The apps are the same for both. I am able to easily add pictures and posts as well as edit old posts. It has the same stats page as you get on the computer. The set up is intuitive. It has a reader so you can read blogs you subscribe To in addition to tags you subscribe to.Now for the things I don't like/wish were different. There is no notifications function, only a comments function. You are able to see comments that have been made on your page. You are unable to see when someone responds to a comment you've made on their page. I find this very annoying. There is no search function for the reader. You can navigate through tags you've followed using your computer, but you can't search for new tags. The only way to view new tags is to click on a tag at the bottom of a post... Also, it crashes on me about 1 out of every 10 times I use it, but it really isn't a big deal to me... I just restart the app and continue where I left off.Despite some major components missing, I would recommend this app to anyone with a Wordpress blog or a frequent Wordpress reader. It is nice to have an additional way to post and to stay up to date on your favorite blogs. I hope the components missing will soon be added!

  • Only partially worthless

    TimmyDee51

Update: An updated version fixed the line break issue mentioned below, but there are still significant problems with the post editor. I had a post all ready to go last night in the web interface and was going to proof it on my iPhone when I had some downtime. When I opened it in the iOS app, my photo and other HTML had been stripped. This is completely unacceptable. If there is one thing a blogging app should do properly, it's write and edit posts. The editor should accept what's entered in the web editor as is. I wrote a post in Pages on my Mac, transferred it to my Wordpress blog, and then added in all the links and photos. Then I decided to proof it on my iPad. Big mistake. The app inserted numerous line breaks that had not been in the original version (58 in total for a six paragraph post), royally screwing up the formatting. I had to go back to the Wordpress site, copy the text, paste it into TextWrangler, insert HTML paragraph tags, and then remove the extraneous line breaks. What a waste of time!I say this app is only partially worthless because it does sync to your blog and it doesn't have the annoying jumping text box that the previous version had (at least on the iPhone). Otherwise avoid it. I realize this is an open source project, and I'm grateful that it's even been attempted. But given the current state of the app, it would probably be better off back in a closed beta.

  • From a learner

    Barbara _j,

I've just begun to put my words, my thoughts, my writing, down on paper so to speak. Words I carry in my mind but without motivation to sit down and to write: never mind to publish, to let others read as well: i.e. To put my writing right out there to be seen. To be analyzed. etc., but even more so, the feedback - the comments of others, that give me more of the courage I know that I possess; But often do not put into action. From WordPress I am learning the willingness to fail. Why fail? Because it is not so easy for me to master the skills and the directions I am prompted to learn in order to publish: skills that are more tech than "creative." But the feedback I get from comments is invaluable. And motivates me, pushes me, to keep trying, to resist the urge to quit. I do not want the simple. I like to be challenged . Not an easy app, not the easiest. But the one which keeps me going: to keep learning until I have mastered the science of following directions. Each time I try, each time I succeed, I appreciate Word press more and more, day by day. And as well, so important to me- the help that is available. That in combination with the above- allow me to do the thing I want to do-to Write!
