When my partner and I decided to take the kids on a vacation, we were looking for an app where we could get a countdown and also share the dates with the kids so they could request the days off work and see the countdown too. During my search, I found a Reddit post where this guy (Blake) said he created an app called Outside. So I downloaded it and it was exactly what I was looking for! Even better really. If you’re looking for a countdown app of any kind, or want to be able to share important dates with friends or family, I really recommend Outside. It’s designed really well and has lots of options for creating your events. Being able to share it with my family is so much better than just putting it on a calendar. The background photos and countdown makes the events that much more exciting.

I really can’t believe this app is free and you won’t believe it either. And no I’m honestly not paid to say this but I would say it for free and I guess I am. You can put your own picture in there you can have a live countdown I have five in there so far and I haven’t seen anything telling me I can’t have more. There are widgets although I can’t seem to get the one on my watch to work I don’t know why. But they have really cool widgets on your phone. I do wish you could put two events on there instead of one or multiple if you have multiple but I’m fine with the way it is. And you can share it to Facebook or other social media. Even to groups. I got on here originally because of my high school reunion but now I’m going to use this for everything!

Don’t even bother with other countdown apps. Your search is over. I don’t normally leave app reviews, but because of the exceptional service I received I had to make it known. I’ve tried a handful of other countdown widget apps. Most of the others are cluttered full of ads or just downright hard to use. This one is simple. The free version has an incredible amount of functionality. And it does exactly what I needed to and more. When I had an issue I couldn’t solve and thought I would have to abandon this app and find a different one. Their support team was able to help me by issuing a fix on their end within a few minutes. No review is going to do this app or its team justice so just try it out.

I’ve tried a handful of other countdown widget apps. Most of the others are cluttered full of ads or just downright hard to use. This one is simple. The free version has an incredible amount of functionality. And it does exactly what I needed to and more. Was searching for a countdown widget app for an upcoming event I’m excited about. All the other apps I tried you have to get the premium version to use the widgets (I get you need to make money but that’s dumb). Saw your post on Reddit and tried this app out. Very easy to use and the widget is included in the free version. I also like that you can set daily reminders to keep you excited about whatever you’re counting down to. I highly recommend, well done.
