This is exactly what I was looking for! The World Clock has everything I wanted to keep the various time zones that I deal with straight. It has all the cities and countries that I need, and I like that you can use it with the 24 hour clock or with am/pm. I've included it on my home screen so that I have my most used time zones just a glance away. The ads are unobtrusive and really not an issue, or you can upgrade to get it without ads. Thanks for an app that is perfect for me!

Functionally Worthless

This app is AMAZING at showing ads. It works flawlessly on that front. Non-stop, in fact! Figuring that it might also be good at displaying time-related widgets, I set one up to show me the time in Los Angeles. And when I checked it out, it gave me the time in Los Angeles as 4:46pm. The sticking point is that at the time, it was 7:02am where I am on the east coast. So it should have said that the time in Los Angeles was 4:02am. Thinking this was strange, I opened the app to see if I could diagnose the issue, and it immediately served me a full-screen ad! The app clearly exists just to be an ad farm, and I don’t have use for some ad farm on my phone (maybe I will someday! But certainly not today) and so I deleted this app to find one that actually displays accurate time widgets.

I’m sorry to hear this! Both of these issues sound like bugs. Sometimes the widgets get “stuck” after an app update; please try restarting your phone, and if that doesn’t fix the widgets please email so I can help get them fixed. I’ll also look into the ads, they shouldn’t be that aggressive.

Better than ever on iOS 14

When Apple released a world clock widget of their own in iOS 14, I thought I wouldn’t need this app anymore. But with so many widget options to choose from—far more than what Apple provides—it remains indispensable. The designs are simple, unobtrusive, and blend in well with the rest of the OS. Best of all, it costs next to nothing. So if you’re looking for a way to make your home screen more useful, this is an excellent place to start.
