World Surf League 4+

The WSL app is ok, but it seams like time and time again, I find myself having to use a desktop to access things like heat scores and updates during specific events. Or... if these things are available to me, I can’t find the access, which means the app isn’t user friendly. Either way, I’m happy to be able to watch live surfing on my phone so I don’t want to complain. On the other hand, it’s 2019 and I believe WSL’s standards could be set much higher for their online production team. Right now everything is just competent, like your app. It works ok, but could be so much better compared to all the other apps out there in the world.

Please fix this app. This is the only way to watch WSL live content and half the time I watch there are problems all over the place and it’s been going on forever. Quick example if you watch a reply heat which I do all the time because these events run at any hour of the day or night, once the heat gets to a commercial break it will break the full screen and for the rest of the heat you will not be able to go full screen. Sometimes when choosing a heat reply it won’t even start. Some will start some randomly won’t usually the ones I want to watch won’t start. Sometimes you will get double audio and have to restart the entire relay which means watching every set of ads you put on there. The ads never mess up. They always work perfectly so at least we know where the priority of ensuring the app is operational. I can also see the reviews are littered with negative comments like these and I can see nothing is being done. So that tells me and everyone else… they don’t care

As one review said, I want to love the app. But you guys are not helping much. First of all, it has performance problems, everything seems to load too slowly. Secondly, it has major bugs in the auth part. For more times than I can count, I went to the fantasy section and it would return an error about the auth token. It returned an actual json, not even an error page. And when this happens, you don’t even have the option to login again. I have to manually log out and try to sign in. Today I couldn’t even sign in again. Finally, as if the auth problem on the fantasy part wasn’t enough, this week it affected all the app. I could not load a single page (aside from the ads, these were loading just fine. I wonder why you make sure these work before everything else). I hope I can delete this review in the future.
