more The app is by definition simple and intended to allow people that work or live across international time zones to be able to determine a time at a glance. It does that, cannot say I am crazy about the colors. It would run better if there was a way to keep it running in the background with access from one click. Cannot beat the price of course!

App is nice from a UX perspective (at least when compared to other similar apps), but it has some bugs and the customer support has been unresponsive. For instance, for me it doesn't show the weather on the map at all, even with the setting clearly made for that. Also, there's a limit of how many locations can be fully shown in the map, and you have no control of which ones show versus not (I have 15 locations set, and only 11 fully show in the map, the others are just marked as dots). Finally, the top icons of the time at different locations are very big, which means that if you have over ˜6 locations selected (laptop screen) you have to scroll sideways to see the others, which spoils a bit the convenience of a quick look.

My business involves communicating accross timezones, and this is the most useful app I've found in the category. I love the screen saver feature as well. It would be nice if the interface colors could be customized. And the dots for some cities move to unseemly locations when there is another city closeby selected. But I've had this app for years and it hasn't sent me looking for something better.

Sadly, this app has been discontinued and abandoned by the developer. Emails to support are bounced back because the support email address no longer exists. Support chats on the website are ignored. The widget no longer works in macOS Big Sur, so upgrading beyond macOS Catalina will remove the widget altogether. The map in the app itself never updates with the different cities that you add. If you decide to add multiple cities to the top of your screen, the map will randomly choose 1 or 2 cities to put on the map, but that's it. But the lack of a widget in macOS Big Sur is the biggest dealbreaker.
Developer Response Hi, thanks for your review and sorry for the inconvenience! We have made many updates and upgrades to the app since then, could you please install the latest updates and see if you are still experiencing the issue? We also added Menubar app since, and its quite nice, you will probably like it :-) If you still have issues please reach out to support@worldclock.pro and we will address them. If everything looks good, we kindly ask to consider updating your initial review. Thanks!
