WUOT Public Radio App:
The WUOT Public Radio App allows you to listen to WUOT, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule all at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WUOT with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WUOT even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for the WUOT stream!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WUOT in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access WUOT programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.
• The WUOT Public Radio App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.

Does exactly what it should... work.
I only use this to listen to the news but it always works. Is always reliable. And delivers excellent quality. If only other apps worked as well as this.
Ok but still glitchy
I LOVE WUOT and NPR. This app is ok but a bit glitchy. I listen on an IPhone, about three times each morning this app just shuts down. I have to restart the app. It seems to be an issue with spooling. I have tried deleting and reloading the app and still experience this minor problem
More stable
The app is more stable but still freezes every couple of days.
Also, a big "Return to Live Stream" needs to be added. Reaching for my iPhone, or sometimes when it's in my pocket, the app switches to one of the pre-recorded stories. That's frustrating enough, but finding your way back to the stream needs to be easier to do at a glance.
