Description
WVTF:
The WVTF App allows you to listen to RADIO IQ and WVTF, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedules all at once! You can explore news stories, On Demand content, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to RADIO IQ and WVTF with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WVTF even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for the RADIO IQ and WVTF radio streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to RADIO IQ and WVTF in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
Radio Bookmarks
• Save what you were listening to (Live or On Demand) so you can replay, follow-up, or share it later by simply clicking “Bookmark”.
Additional features
• Easily share stories and programs with family and friends via the “Share” button.
• A built in Sleep Timer and Alarm Clock allows you to go to sleep and wake up to your favorite station.

Streaming music through new hearing aids
One of several sources that I go to to listen to classical music through my new Phonak Marvel hearing aids. My experience has been exemplary with no buffering issues as has been reported by other reviewers. My WiFi feed is well over 200 Mbps, so maybe that could explain the better performance. With the Bluetooth streaming I hear music crystal clearly now. What a thrill.
Lake listener
The new format took me by surprise and was a little “off putting”— but once I realized it put so much info and stories in clear view, I began to appreciate the format. I have not had the buffering problems noted in other reviews. I listen all day— would be lost without NPR.
Convenient
I usually listen on the radio but this app is nice when I travel or use a Bluetooth speaker.
