The X4 Players Handbook app is a companion tool for players of the game X4 Foundations.
The X4 Foundations companion app features multiple tools that dramatically enhance your game sessions, including:
-Interactive Production Explorer, a fully interactive and dynamic production tree explorer, covering every resource, ware, end-product and faction in the game.
- Station Planner + Analyzer, the easiest and fastest tool available for planning out your production stations, and analyzing the workflow of stations you’ve already built.
- Combine multiple stations to analyze as a "virtual complex" exchanging wares with each other
- Focused production reference charts (station-build tech, electronics tech, ship tech, etc)
- Direct in-app access to the full Player’s Handbook website
The app features several free tools, and additional tools that can be added with Handbook Pro subscription available with a free trial period for all new subscribers.

Great calculations
I’ve used the online station calculators, but this is so much better. Can save station plans permanently, don’t have to keep recreating them just to check calculations. And even better, can use while playing to keep updated status for all my stations and get an instant overview of how my production/consumption levels are across multiple stations (which X4 does a terrible job of this sort of thing). Overall, pretty great in terms of both planning out how many modules I need and acting as reference during game. Would be nice if it could read stations directly out of my save game instead of having to update them myself, but I’m not sure how that could even work.
Subscription?
I’d pay for pro on a one time basis but a sub?
Seems like the app has decent info hidden behind that wall though
