We are continuing to make updates to enhance the Xcel Energy mobile app experience regularly.

New this week:
- Usage Experience enhancements to view your statement on the usage details pages and defaulted view of up to 24 months of usage information
- Bug Fixes and other improvements

And more updates coming later in 2024 including ability to update email/phone number, view daily/hourly usage information, solar generation, and usage cost information!

UI Updates

UI is nicely streamlined, but you went a little too far. I regularly use day and hour graphs to track usage. Please restore capabilities.

Nice improvements!

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The app is incredibly user-friendly and makes managing my energy usage and payments a breeze.

The app also allows me to easily pay my bill, set up auto-pay, and even report outages directly from my phone.

Overall, I highly recommend Xcel Energy's new mobile app to anyone looking to simplify their energy management and payment

Non-sensical Usage numbers

I have solar on my roof. During the summer I generate more electricity than I use so I ‘deliver’ electricity back to Xcel. But in the new app it shows those kWh’s as “usage”. It actually adds what Xcel ‘delivered’ to me to what I ‘delivered to Xcel’ and calls that my “Usage”. That is a non-sensical number. My actual usage is what they delivered to me plus what I used directly from my solar (that Xcel actually cannot see). The app should show as my usage only what they delivered to me. And my ‘net usage’ should subtract what I delivered to Xcel, not add what I delivered. Someone else used that electricity.

Hi, we are currently triaging this issue with how Solar Generation displays. Once we have a resolution, we will release a new version of the app.
