What happened??!

Suddenly nothing works. Then I tried to uninstall/reinstall it on my (admittedly old) iPad and now it says it’s not compatible and won’t reinstall it!
Ok, iPad is old and it’s super disappointing (it’s helped keep me sane, stuck in bed after surgery) but let’s just watch on my tiny phone screen. What’s this? Still won’t do anything! Come on!!!
And why can’t I set recordings from my phone? I’m not home and suddenly remember there’s something on tonight I wanted to record. Oh well, guess I’ll have to watch it on demand with all the commercials that are so repetitive. Thanks.

IT’S NOT “Simple. Easy. Awesome.”

Updated app on my iPad yesterday. BIG mistake! We have Xfinity cable, internet and voice (landline phone) and our last bill was $261 ($40 increase because our promo ended). We have been “loyal” Comcast/Xfinity customers since 1991! They’re changing channel lineups/packages 10/10 and we will have to change our pkg to continue to get a few channels we always watch. Oh and it’s going to be another $10+/month! Nice! App is a piece of junk, prices are outrageous. If every other commercial break didn’t have an XFINITY AD maybe we wouldn’t have to pay what they charge. Really full of themselves-I’m getting other providers for our needs. Big corporations DO NOT appreciate or care about loyal customers. At all! Screw us.

XFINITY/COMCAST...your customers pay a lot of money each month for your various “services”. This app IS PART OF THE SERVICE I PAY FOR!
This worked fine until a few days ago. Recorded shows take forever to start playing then it skips forward every 30 seconds or so and I miss whatever was in the skipped portion. I’d really like to watch THE WHOLE SHOW!! This started before updating to iOS 11.4 and updating app (which was available 11 hrs ago). Deleted and reinstalled app but, nope. Still screwed up. C’mon!!!

I loved the app until today. Some issues (i.e. can no longer chose what to record from the app, can only watch some stations when connected to home WiFi- I only use the app when I am not at home so that kind of defeats the purpose for me). Today there was an emergency weather alert. Great thanks for letting me know FOR HALF AN HOUR, and it’s still going I’ve given up trying to watch anything. No matter what I try to watch, and now I’ve tried on two devices- the weather alert goes on. 8 minutes was left of my show and I’ve been waiting half an hour to see the end. I decided to let it play I went and did some other tasks, made some coffee- came back and IT WAS STILL GOING. The severe weather is over an hour away. I don’t need this information to be the only thing I’m allowed to watch. Very frustrating. Let me add- I just checked to see if during the time I spent writing this maybe it had passed- nope still going and going. Weather alert is for another 23 minutes- I guess I have to try again after that. Ridiculous.
