Description

This is a math equation editor which could export the result as image, LaTeX.
Include variables, binary operators, arrows, relations, brackets, underline, overline, accents, fraction, radical, large operator...
Just download and have a try.

-----

Functions:

1. Mathematical formula editing. Export format: LaTeX, Image.

2. Mathematical formula library:
- You can create several formula libraries at the same time, and each formula library can be exported and imported separately;
- Under each formula library, there can be many categories, and under each category, there can be many groups. Under each group, formulas can be created and edited
- Example 1: High School Mathematics Formula Library > Classification 1: Set, Classification 2: Geometry, Classification 3: Algebra
- Example 2: Junior High School Mathematics Formula Library>Classification 1: Rational Numbers, Classification 2: Trigonometric Functions, Classification 3: Geometry

3. Mathematical style:
- Due to font limitations, the mathematical formulas currently provided may have some pixel spacing flaws, and each style may also have several mathematical characters that are not supported. Please use them as appropriate.
- We will continue to optimize mathematical styles, which is what we are concerned about.

4. Custom keyboard:
-The frequency of mathematical symbols used varies at each stage, from elementary school, middle school, high school to university; The frequency of symbols used for sets, limits, matrices, functions, and each knowledge range is also different. So if you use it for a long time or frequently, it is strongly recommended to create a suitable input symbol keyboard for yourself, which is more efficient and saves more time than a universal keyboard.

-----

Purchase:

1. This is a paid software and is provided for free download in the hope that users will know what features this software has and whether it is useful before purchasing.

2. As the payment methods for iOS and macOS were not unified when this software was first released, xFormula (iOS) and xFormula (macOS) need to be paid separately.
The advantage of separate payment is pricing splitting, which means that if you only have a mobile device and don't have a Mac, you can save on the purchase cost of the Mac. If merged, the pricing will also be the sum of the current two pricing.

3. Up to now, the software is provided with a buyout system, one-time purchase, lifetime use.

What’s New

Version 3.1

- Customize the input keyboard : Add support for keyboard control+left mouse button display menu. (Right mouse button can still display menu)
- Optimization and Bugs fixed

Over-constrained format

This app lost a really useful feature: the ability to type straight Latex to generate formula with direct format control. It is now forcing the user to go through a keyboard analysing procedure that tries to fit the typed text into an incomplete mapping of what Latex can do, rendering commands such as \bm and \mathrm useless .. I dread to find what else is no longer possible. The app is now full of gimmicks and missing what made it great: plain simple Latex.

Excellent Work

I purchaed it 15 minutes ago and tried it out at once. It works, to the extent I checked. When used with Apple's Pages, the xFormula makes equation editing very easy. I have yet to test it on Google Doc. Can you (Mr. Zhang) make xFormula an add-on to Page and/or Google Doc? This may make cut-and-paste even easier, although I am already happy the way it is. Some of the reviewers are too harsh. For $5.99 you can buy a Big Mac with no fries and no drink. The service provided by xFormula is certainly worth the cash.

Excellent replacement for MathType

Love this app. Mathtype has been sold and the new overlords decided that Mac OS is not something they are interested in. This is a great replacement for Mac. I was tired of using Parallels to run Windows just to add equations. It is such a hassle. $5.99 for lifetime use, it is bargain. Don't fall into annual fees of Mathtype. They offer less compatibility for more money. Also be careful with the bad reviews. They are trying prevent people using alternative equation editor software.
