Looked promising but...
It doesn’t work. Console log shows errors. The app is unable to find many strings to date, hour, time, PTZ etc. Basically when it tries to connect there are many errors within this app.
XGuard Works for me
XGuard works for me in viewing 4IP Cams. There is absolutely Zero user configuration required besides intering camera’s IP and port number, user name, and password. All these can be found on your camera’s manufacturer or installer documentation.
It is as clean and simple as any OS X/iOS interface. I wish I could autmate recording with it.
Version 1.4 won’t connect
Trying all the available ports, connecting to the local and remote address from within the network it still won’t connect to the server. Port forwarding is enabled. I tested DVRClient for Mac at the same time and that did work.
