A few quirks

The hardware is what you would expect for this BMS, good features but very low balance capability. There is one quirk/oversight I have found annoying, and I hope the software developers change. If you are planning on taking your batteries off-grid, (with no cell signal for miles) then make sure you have already set the settings you want on your batteries before getting there. I discovered that the app requires you to prove your purchase of $6.99 every day in order to access your configurations on the BMS (including turning charge/discharge on and off, balancing on and off etc) I discovers this when arriving in the middle of nowhere in my camper while each of my BMS’s were set off (to force additional balancing) and was unable to turn them back on. I had to drive 12 miles to the nearest spot I got service to confirm with the app that I had indeed made the purchase and “restore purchases”. It has done this once every day or two since I have made the purchase. Is it possible or to update this for those of us that use the product no where near a cell signal/wifi?

Instructions for this powerful app?

I have 5 new LFP batteries, all with this BMS and bluetooth. It was not difficult to set up, but I needed help finding how to set the battery capacities. Simple to find the battery voltage, amps in or out, estimated SOC, temps, and some max and min numbers, and the cell voltages in comparison.
It seems amazingly powerful, with plenty of settings to tweak in the config mode. Do I trust all the default settings? I can find them.

But I can’t find a manual. There must be one, and it hopefully gives suggestions on how to utilize the power of the app.

total garbage

The most incapable app - just one simple thing is all we ask done correctly: Show CORRECT charge %

Can it do this? absolutely not. had 80 amp hours left, four hours later at 4 amps I have 0 amp hours, that is 80 amp hours gone in 4 hours. Every time I check my battery level it seems incorrect so I found that if I go to settings choose BMS > BMS Read > then change any setting and I mean any setting just a little, like turn off or on the Balancer or change the delta by 1 mv up or down does not matter this is all just to be able to "Write" the new settings > Return to main screen and *poof* the battery % and amp hours magically changes instantly. This is a constant failure to report actual capacity and lets face it this is one of the main reasons for the app and is why % of charge is shown first at the top all big like it is important, yet in reality this app is garbage and shows an Untrue % all the time.

Developer Response ,

This is not a bug of the app. The app displays SOC as reported by BMS. If you get unexpected values - talk to your BMS reseller, could be HW or Firmware problem.

Please fix the rating. The problem you are complaining is not related to the App.
