Description

Graphing your data should be intuitive, flexible, yet consistent. Ease of plotting encourages exploration. When it comes to statistical analysis, something so important should be so easy it just happens. Xynk makes the graphing and statistical analysis of categorical data quick and easy. Results are automatic, with 1-and 2-way ANOVAs, repeated measures, and post-hoc tests that just appear.

Some of Xynk's Features:

Graphing
Easy graphing of categorical data in bar or line format (or show all individual points). A detailed inspector and an intuitive style toolbar allow complete control over graph elements and drawing style. Xynk comes with many built in color themes, or design and save your own. The parameters you specify carry over to other graphs from the same data set, to provide a consistent look with minimal effort.

Plot summary values of average or median etc, with bars to show your choice of SD, SEM, CI, range, etc.

Switching categories, or the order of categories and subcategories, is as easy as hitting a sort button. No need to remember which row or column maps to the graph's bars!

ANOVA
Automatic calculation of one-way or two way ANOVAs with repeated measures. (Two way ANOVAs require in-app purchase). Two-way mixed ANOVAs (with one repeated measure) require equal group sizes; all other ANOVAs may be unbalanced (different numbers of subjects in each group).

Post-Hoc Tests and Symbols
Select between t-tests, Bonferroni, Fisher's LSD, Scheffe, Newman-Keuls, or Tukey-Kramer. You know which test is best for your data; we make it easy to choose.

Specify which comparisons should be highlighted with symbols via a custom interface, or automatically display letters to indicate all significant differences.

Captions
A statistical description of the graph complete with n's, F values, and a key to post hoc symbols is automatically generated for every graph.

Statistical Results Tables
Tables of ANOVA results, group by group post hoc comparisons, and descriptive statistics are just a click away for detailed examination.

Help and References
We provide a series of online guides, and references for the numeric algorithms used in the statistical analyses.

What’s New

Version 1.0.2

Bug Fixes:
* fixed icons on import experiment
* fixed change in save location after saving template
* fixed abberant toggling by "Show key" inspector check box
* removed un-implemented "swap x and y axes"
* fixed bug in reporting 2-way mixed anova results (F-values for factors 1 and 2 were swapped)

Enhancements:
* added option to leave bars unfilled (for easy visualization of individ. points)
* added example data files for one-way ANOVA and one-way repeated measures ANOVA
* unlocked example data files so that two-way ANOVAs explorable without requiring in-app purchase
