I have tried using gmail and the apple default mail app, and this is the only one that gives me my email notifications as soon as the emails are in my mailbox. This is also the only app of the three that lets you mark an email as spam no matter whether it is a yahoo email address or not (gmail doesn’t). Lastly, I love that this app can tell you when your package will arrive if the tracking info has been provided in an email

Yahoo Mail app has always been good, but as of late I cannot delete emails from the “All” emails category; the app just locks up and won’t let me select or multi-select emails; I have to go my laptop or some other UI to remove them. Select/Remove works great in “Primary” category. Lastly, I should be able to select as many emails as I want to delete in one quick execution; this delete 10 or 20 emails at a time is ridiculous.

Prefer the previous version. This new version makes you go into your icon to find folders and other boxes when the previous version had the icon on the bottom banner. The older version also let you click to highlight where you could delete a whole day at a time. Now you have to select each email. This takes time since emails receive so many advertisements. Not a fan of this new mobile device app. Looking at other email app options.

Everything is more difficult now with this new change. More steps. Can’t see my folders on the left. Now it won’t even let me log in on my app on my phone. I hope I can log in on my computer later. Won’t actually let you switch back to the old version even though there’s an option to do so. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I can’t get into my email on my phone. It won’t let you change you password or anything!!!

Since they changed the format of the Yahoo app, the swiping to read emails option randomly stops and doesn’t return. An example of what I’m saying is if I filter unread messages and I go into an email and swipe from right to left it normally should bring me to the next email which it would do but then randomly will stop that function and it takes a while for the function to restore.

Why on earth am I getting “daily challenge goals” on my email?! This isn’t a game app. IT IS EMAIL! “Read or delete emails now to continue. That is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary!! Stick to emails and leave the “challenges” to gaming apps! And for the record, I’m still ticked that I can no longer select limited photos in the Yahoo app, having to sort through all photos to find the one I want, not a limited selection.
