Love the plan, hate the app

The app will open exactly once after installation. After that, it gives me the most passive aggressive error message ever, “Looks like you may be having difficulty getting started right now”. As though this error is MY fault.

No combination of app killing or restarting the phone will clear the error. The only way to is to uninstall, restart phone, reinstall.

Then it will open exactly once again before getting all passive aggressive once more.

Contacted tech support who promised a fix, if not just a reply, within 48 hours. It’s been 4 days now with no response.

The service is great (Yahoo mobile is an MVNO on Verizon’s network) and the price is good.

I just wish the app would work without blaming the customers for not loading.

I’m using a brand new iPhone 12, purchased from Yahoo mobile, running iOS 14.2.1.

Great service. Bad app, bad lapse in coverage

The service is fantastic everywhere that I go. I’ve never had an issue with service until now. I did not have auto pay set up, and they shut my service off last night, naturally. After paying for the service this morning it didn’t resume. I have currently been waiting 13 hours for the service to return. After 4 conversations with tech support, and conflicting answers I am still left waiting “24-48 hours for our techs to fix this issue”. Also, The app also will only allow for one use before it must be re-downloaded, making resolving this issue even worse now. I am in the military and I am responsible for managing 40+ soldiers. This is a setback, not being able to have contact with them while they are scattered across the country and abroad.

Run Around. Couldn't Sign Up.

"We are setting up your account" message kept cycling for 30+ minutes. I tried signing up on the app twice a couple weeks ago. Chat person told me to delete all my cookies and all my open safari windows were deleted. Not a good thing. That chat person disconnected from the chat somehow after I had been conversing with her for awhile. (Who wants to go through the same thing with a different chat person and waste more time?) A few weeks later I try on the website from my laptop. It cycles the message above. I get on chat again and after he talks to another department, I am told this: I need to send a photo of my laptop screen to "show the issue I am experiencing" to yahoo on either Twitter DM or Facebook DM. They act like they have never seen this happen before, yet I am not the only one in the app reviews saying they have had this problem. Something doesn't add up and seems fishy. I am not a BOT and you have lost my business x two cell phone lines.
