Where is my amplifier?

Lists every zone for every amplifier separately.
But when I hid the unused zones, entire devices disappeared after restart, and there's no bringing them back ('show all hidden zones' does not do anything, and the device is shown in UPnP Diagnostics - just ignored by app).

Sad part is that this is my "primary" device. the fact the application refuses to work with the device i care most about makes the application very promising, but not quite delivering ...

Volume control for receiver(s) in Mac menu bar is very useful

Controlling receiver volume from the MacOS menu bar is the go-to feature for me. Picking up a remote and pointing it at the receiver is not the most onerous job, but clicking on a menu item and being able to drag the volume level instantly beats it any day. (I also use YamaCast's play and pause controls sometimes, although that can also be done with other add-ons to control the Music app (née iTunes) directly.)

My only feature request would be to allow renaming of receivers to something other than their model numbers; I'd love to be able to change YamaCast's label "Room (CX-A5100)" to "Living Room". (The developer has notified me that I can use Yamaha's MusicCast iOS app itself to do this, although I haven't set up a MusicCast network yet, instead using AirPlay on iOS exclusively.)

Developer Response ,

Thank you very much for the review, we are glad that you like YamaCast! Turning hidden zones back on should work properly. The receiver name can be changed using the official MusicCast application on the mobile device. The omission of the device model name has been added to our to-do list for future updates. In case of any issues or questions do not hesitate to contact us via support page. Best regards

Now I am organized. ,

Worked like a charm, but only once

I installed the app, launched and it was immediately connected to my receiver and worked perfectly as described from the menu bar.
Then never again. I tried on another musiccast amp, and it didn't find it either, just a perpetual search bar suggesting to disconnect and reconnect the devices. Both devices still connect to my iPhone and iPad, but I am usually working and want to kick on some background music with my computer and not grab my phone off the charger in another room. Bummer, such a great start. I will await an updat that might cure the issue.
