Description

Yappin lets you talk to anyone anonymously nearby. When someone enters your radius, you can chat with them, and when they leave your radius, their messages disappear! Our map feature will show you everyone in your proximity.

For many people, it can be daunting to break the ice in a public setting, so we created a solution that engages social interaction with those around you. Do you want to send a message to your upstairs neighbor that they're too loud? Or maybe you want to look for group partners in a class? Or just looking for new friends nearby? Yappin has you covered!

Creative idea

Very cool app and good implementation

Small app , silly fun

There are a lot of quality of life feature missing, but it does what it advertised and the idea is fun. Being about to talk to strangers within a closed radius can be silly. Need a lot of the user for it to work but right now it’s mostly the devs and a couple other users. As you would expect, already seen people asking for smash.

If you live in Davis, you can see how the dev tries so hard to keep the conversation going, or tries to get the conversation started but fails. Poor devs.
