LOVE THIS APP!

I absolutely LOVE YAZIO! I've been using it for about two weeks now; I was hooked by the second day. I found it on the App Store after deciding I wasn't happy with the other app I was using. YAZIO is way more organized with so many more options, it's easy to navigate (especially with the helpful widgets, which makes it so easy to quickly access to log a meal), and it's just super well designed and nice to look at. The most awesome part for me is its automatic calculations. I used to struggle to maintain organization of my calorie intake throughout the day, but after only a few days of using YAZIO it became an automatic activity that I log before I even sit down to enjoy a meal, snack, or beverage (I mostly drink lemon water, but I put any other beverages under the Snack category). The other most awesome thing is that I have actually started working out WAY more because it's motivating to see that I can snack a bit extra if I get my workout in. Therefore I've been using my stationary bike nearly every single day for 30-60 minutes, and it's so exciting to see the intake vs calories burned. It is just extremely inspiring and motivates me to keep going day after day. I was lucky to get 75% off my subscription which was affordable for me, and even after I reach my goal weight (about 20 lbs away) I will keep using this app all the time. It's a great addition to a healthy lifestyle. Thank you YAZIO for creating such a fantastic app! You guys rock! :)

Amazing!!!

This app is so good, it’s almost perfect. It has nutrition, activity, water, and measurement tracking, plus a notes section with a good variety of tags that serve as a mood journal/symptom tracker of sorts. With pro, I also have Fitbit integration and a fasting tracker. Put that all together and this app really meets all of my needs and took 2-3 apps out of my rotation, all replaced by this one.

I only say it’s almost perfect because I would love two things, they’re minor but would be great. I would love to have more flexibility in the fasting schedules/tracking. Nothing longer than 16:8 is kinda on the light side for people who are already used to regular IF. An option to input a custom fasting schedule would be perfect but the addition of 18:6 and 20:4/OMAD (one meal a day) would be fantastic. ADF (alternate day fasting) is not my jam but they have several options for that as well, though I can’t attest to the variety.

The other thing that would be great is an increased variety of tags in the Note section. Again the option to add custom ones would be marvelous but just more tags so that I can track a wider breadth of moods and symptoms would be helpful.

App is good but glitchy

The app is great when it works. I decided to do the Pro subscription and it was ok for 35 days and then app stopped working. I couldn’t enter any foods for any meals by doing a typed search. Barcode scan would work and copying from previous days would work, but that was it. I was really disappointed. I was reluctant to reinstall because I had a streak going.

I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling and after I did, the app was WAY better than before with all these features that I always thought should have been there…. like frequent foods list for easy entry, a visible database to make selections from, saved recipes, etc. None of those features were there for me until I reinstalled. I think somehow I had a defective version the entire time because all of those things should have been there! I always thought it was weird that I couldn’t see the database when I searched something. For example, I would enter “half and half” and it would automatically choose a brand even though it wasn’t that exact brand. There was no way around it and so I just went with it, but looking back, that was really weird. I never had a list pop up where I could select the correct brand until I reinstalled.

I didn’t lose my streak after deleting and reinstalling. 👍 But now, after reinstalling, the watch app stopped working 👎 It just won’t open. It’ll instantly close.
