1. Optimized Codec to improve call quality (Path: Account→Settings→Audio Options→Codec).
- Added Opus codec.
- Changed the default codec from iLBC to G729.
2. Optimized user experience in External Chat.
- Added support for transferring a messaging session to a message queue.
- Added support for an agent of a message queue to pick up a messaging session from the queue.
3. Optimized user experience in Linkus calls.
- Added signal bars to help you identify the signal strength during a call. You can tap the signal bar to check details about network quality.
- Added Network Tip option, which allows you to configure how you want to be notified of network anomalies during a call, either receive pop-up only or receive pop-up and prompt. To configure the option, go to Account→Settings→Audio Options→Network Tip.
- Optimized the text prompt and its position for network anomalies during a call.
4. Fixed the issue that failed to make outbound calls.
Ratings and Reviews
Nice App, still need some development
It is a very nice & convenient Proprietary app to connect with Yeastar PBX over other 3rd party apps like Zoiper. Features like PBX contacts with BLF, easy create & connect Audio Conference are blasting. Still need further development like Video call & conference support, changing the server address without logging out, mostly need accounts section like Zoiper, 3CX etc for adding multiple accounts at a time. These added features will make it most professional app for connecting Yeastar PBX.
Currently draining battery too much on forced background run, need to recover the issue ASAP.
Small Business
I am excited for the ability to text our customers now, but I believe there is an Apple issue. When creating an external chat, I cannot “paste” a phone number. Our android users are able to copy a customer cell phone number, then “paste” it into the chat recipient. Please get this fixed.
Even better, if you could make my phone recognize that I have a texting app. So when I’m in my Apple calendar looking at a customer I’m about to meet with. If I long press their phone number it gives me the option to call or text that person. It would be AMAZING if that also gave the option to “text with Linkus” and “call with Linkus”. If that’s possible then forget about the pasting issue.
Needs fix
After update, Names and pictures disappeared and now just displays ext numbers. I got a name to show up by editing it on the server but too tedious to do for every person every time there is a linkus update. Please fix.
