Midwife-led classes are designed to empower you with the information and practices you need to approach birth and early parenthood feeling confident, informed and calm.

Great support during pregnancy

YogiBirth is a fantastic app to use during pregnancy. The design is clean and easy to navigate. The videos, meditations and education info are incredibly helpful. I personally felt that practicing yoga throughout my pregnancy made my delivery easier and I went into labour feeling more prepared physically and mentally.

Barely any actual yoga.

I downloaded this app thinking there would be more free options but there are not. You get only 1 free "lesson" and must pay for everything after that. Also the "lesson" claimed it was 7 minutes but I did 3 yoga moves for a total of 2 minutes with the rest of it sitting in a crossed leg position while the instructor reiterated the written description of the "lesson" such a waste of time. There's absolutely no way I would pay any money to listen to someone speak for 3/4 off the time. Don't waste your data or time.

Developer Response ,

Hi Misha - I'm sorry the app didn't live up to your expectations. I wish our content could fit with everyone's preferences, sadly that isn't always possible. Before launching the app, we did lots of research with pregnant women to understand what they wanted from a class. The results showed us that 'gentle' and 'meditative' components are really important, hence we put so much focus on centering before each class and emotionally connecting with your baby. In the coming months we will be releasing more active classes; sadly COVID delayed our ability to do that. Regarding the number of free classes, our intro video says you can access 1x yoga + 1x meditation + 1x education class for free, as a sampler. I'm sorry YogiBirth wasn't the app for you in this instance. Laura
