Great practice tool. If you understand basic 16th note sub divisions and like me only know how to play by ear this is a great tool for learning how to sight read. You start at level one with a two bar phrase that loops then changes to another rhythm pattern. After you’ve mastered those patterns you can progress to the next level with each level introducing something slightly more complex. You can also set your metronome to a 16th, 8th 1/4 or triplet pulse with the pulse being visible below the rhythm line. Just about every time signature you can imagine is also at your disposal. 4/4, 5/4, 7/4, 9, 11, 13, 15 etc. Level eight through ten is a bit out of my league but fortunately I have friends that are well versed in music theory to help me at those levels. I’ve been playing music (drums) for 40 years and for me this is an awesome tool. Check it out.
The interface is billed as being intuitive. For me, it certainly was not. I read the pdf file instruction sheet and found it very confusing. The sounds this app uses are very annoying. Currently frustrated and disgusted.
