I love this game! I’m actually not a ya game player my hubster is and he introduced me to this app. I’m enjoying every min! The grind is real and dedicated. The guilds throughout all the severe from 5 to where I’m from and the legendaries from 10! They are all wonderful people and make the game so much more fun! I was so looking forward to this as a long time fan of the Ys series….that being said, this is a replica of all the others jpgs on the App Store. It lost what made the series so great. Instead of working aspects of criteria regarding guilds and teams into their game…..the took their game and turned it into all the others. If you have played the series….don’t look for any of that here in this game…this is honestly just like all the others except for the story. I guess I was hoping that they made a ys game and just incorporated online aspects of guild and friends….but I guess they will only leave those for consoles. To see the same game In All of these jpgs on the apple store just with different skins and stories is vastly disappointing. They just like all others have turned into money hungry companies…gems that you earn are behind a paywall….best armor and soul cards the same…. I would rather pay a straight amount for an actual YS game like Ys8 in the App Store than to continue to fall for these type of games. Very sad and disappointed that what made his series great is now gone…….I would have even rather have seen them make it like Genshin impact than this :-(

I feel that I have to spend money just to keep up at all, and even then, it’s very much an uphill struggle. Well, less a hill and more like Mount Everest. I could spend more, but it kind of has me so demoralized that I’m not going to. My BP gain has come to a near screeching halt. To get new mounts and other special “items” will have you spending 100 or more dollars per day which is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been grinding for the level 70 gear since level 70 came available and I’ve not gotten the materials for one single piece. The drop rate is horrendous and the fact that you can only get rewards for three per day is ridiculous. Spending money won’t even help you with that either. Here’s how you balance the game and still make money; charge 20 dollars to download the game, remove all limits to pretty much everything and just let people play it, then throw in the microtransactions that are cosmetic ONLY, nothing to allow you to be more capable than anyone else. Only time grinding and actually playing should get you ahead.
