Welcome to the Zürich City Guide, the digital companion for your stay in Zurich. The app contains the following features:

Simply purchase and present the city pass «Zürich Card» in the app. By purchasing the «Zürich Card», you can benefit from the following free special offers:

You can book and present tickets for city tours, public transportation, or excursions in just a few steps in the app. Also, table reservations for restaurants can be made easily using the Zürich City Guide.

On the city map you can find tourist highlights and other useful information – such as where public toilets or fountains with drinking water are located.
FAVORITES
Create your own favorites to compile your individual program.
PROFILE
The login function allows you to easily store your details and those of your fellow travelers in the app.
INFORMATION
In the app, you’ll find frequently asked questions, seasonal tips as well as information on public transport. You also have the possibility to reach out to the team of Zürich Tourism through the app.

Maps wrong, beware
Took us to the wrong location cause their maps are incorrect.

Sorry to hear that. The content in our app is monitored regularly to avoid this. Can you maybe share some details about your case (which location did you navigate to?) via app@zuerich.com so we can have a look into it? That would be great to avoid this in the future. Sorry again for the inconveniences, we hope you had an enjoyable stay apart from this.
Doesn’t work. Beware.
The app worked for about 12 hours, then would not connect for the remainder of my trip. Make sure you screenshot your Zurich Card codes, and don’t rely on this app for information.
Update: DO NOT trust the developer response to this review. Screenshot your Zurich Card code in the app, if the app works for you at all. The ticket is NOT accessible in “offline mode” as the app often will not load at all. Yes, you receive a PDF, but it takes much longer to access—I eventually used a screenshot of the PDF to enter museums.
Also worth noting that many restaurants listed on the app have no idea what you’re talking about when you ask about their Zurich Card discounts.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to review our app. That should of course not happen, apologies for that. However, tickets are also available in offline mode, so you should have been able to retrieve your bookings via the bookings tab of the app. No need to take screenshots. In addition, you always get a PDF version of the ticket via e-mail. Hope you still had an amazing time in Zurich, best wishes from Switzerland!
