Love this game
This is a nice and relaxing game, but it’s also a challenge to complete your collections and exciting getting new patterns.
I have two recommendations;
On the egg list please put the mates on it. Yes once you click on the egg you can see who the mates were and all the info on it which is really nice; excellent job with that, but if you could see just the mates on the egg list page also then you wouldn’t have to keep opening each egg page to see which ones you have and decide which one you want the currently hatch.
Also it would be nice if the pond would change sometimes to different prey and or plants. The different challenges of each prey currently in the sets is a nice touch and I do enjoy that. However, once you’ve already played with multiple koi through to ascension the game can start getting a little boring doing the same series of prey over and over again. Changing it up sometimes would help.
I really enjoy the wide variety of koi patterns and colors. After a while that’s what the game really becomes for me. Completing collections and starting new ones, of which you have done an excellent job of. I especially enjoy the different holiday patterns and background pictures you provide. I also love the fact that you can gift koi that you don’t need, very nice. Overall you all did a great job creating this game and I really enjoy it. Thank you
I originally was playing zen koi 1 and was obsessed with it and then they came out with zen koi 2 and I fell in Love! Especially with the playable dragons! I’m so addicted to this game I even got some family and friends to start playing it with me. I find it really easy to get pearls and I love all the patterns. I do wish you’d add new and different prey to eat though, That’s really the only new thing I’d love even more. I can’t get enough of this game. It’s really a great step up from the first one. I love that the new update has the mates on it instead of needing to click the egg!!! It’s a great add in! I really hope you can make it so the prey change or add more prey.
I also think it would be cool if some fish could ascend faster than others sometimes? Like maybe some only need to expand the pond three times, or four instead of 8 all the time! I think that would be super cool!!
Also maybe if the dragon had to make a certain pattern instead of just making some crazy one on your own, like being lead to the stars you have to do first and creating different patterns the actually look good and cool!
I love this app so much. I have a disorder called Misophonia and Misokinesia, which causes me to have stuff similar to anxiety attacks. Playing this app after a long hard day is the most relaxing thing ever, it’s like meditation with your eyes open.
I gave this five stars, obviously, but there is one tiny thing that I have to complain about. As relaxing as this app is, when I get to the red pufferfish stage, it starts to bother me a LOT
It puffs up every single time! It takes me forever to get one, and usually I need 8 to get both eggs. I can handle the regular pufferfish, I can handle the blue turtle things, but I can’t handle the red pufferfish. It makes me so angry! They blow up more than the regular ones (I think) AND they slow me down.
If you guys could make it more often that plays can catch the red pufferfish, that would be great!
Developer Response ,
Hi thank you for your review! We're glad that the game helps you to relax. To catch the pufferfish, try to eat them from behind (both red and normal ones) and they wouldn't puff up. To make things easier, you could try to avoid them on those levels, and focus on getting the other bugs first - this helps speed things up as they would just be obstacles to avoid (without them puffing up). After catching the rest, you could focus on the red pufferfish and the chances of randomly puffing them up would be less as you wouldn't be chasing after other prey. We hope this helps! If you have Facebook, you can also check out the fangroups there :) They are really friendly people who gift and trade fishes daily.
