What are the coins for?

I really enjoy the game and use it to wind down pretty often - 1,706 puzzles worth. What some people said about stressful ads featuring child endangerment and suffering is accurate, and, though they’re cartoons, it starts to defeat the purpose (of unwinding). But, I do enjoy the actual game itself. I’ve even spent some money on it out of curiosity. Some of the smaller words are darker and repetitive, and many words count as extra finds and don’t populate the answer bubbles until you put in a repetitive one. But, it’s just a little annoying and isn’t likely to stop me from using the app in the near future.
But I have to ask: what are the coins for? I have over 30,000 of them and I cannot figure out how they’re used. I see options to buy more but I haven’t the faintest idea why I would. Surely I’m just missing something on the app, but I haven’t been able to determine what.

Nice, but too much $$$ (see EDIT)

The interface is very satisfying, great ASMR sound effects, smooth mechanics. Starts very slow, but that’s to be expected in most any puzzle game. The Daily Challenge is a bit more challenging, so that’s a nice escape from the initial dull series of “training” levels.
In the beginning, ads are few and far between — which is ESSENTIAL, for players to get a good feel as to whether they’re even going to like the game. Extra star just for that; that adds value and demonstrates the Devs care about the product! Unsurprisingly, after playing several levels, the ads become more intrusive: longer, and between nearly every (extremely short) level. Not outrageous though, compared to current trends in mobile in-game advertising.
I would gladly pay for the game, just to remove ads — not even for game currency, which i don’t foresee myself wanting, just based on the way i personally prefer to play puzzle games. But it’s set up as the typical subscription model, a weekly fee (or monthly or annually, discounted)… and that’s just not appropriate imo for a little word puzzle game. So I’ll probably delete it for a similar game that’s not subscription-based.
⚠️(EDIT) Okay, i missed the option to pay a one-time fee to Remove Ads Forever + some game coins. It’s not in the “Remove Ads” splash screen offer, but can be found in the Shop. Current price is $4.99 and includes 300 coins, which is acceptable and I’m going to purchase that option. 😁👍

So many ads

I’m deleting this app due to the overuse of ads. I tried to let them know ahead of time. It is overrun with ads. It really could be a cool game too! The pictures and quotes are nice. The games are fun. But it takes longer to watch an ad to get to the next level than the actual level takes. It is 100% not worth that. In this day and age, everyone is super busy. We cannot be wasting all this time on ads. It stated you can remove them for a week if you pay them. Like what? I have other games with ads and I don’t mind them. I understand it’s a way to make money but this app is doing way too much with the ads. You can’t even sit for ten minutes and play without watching at least two. I just logged in and got hit with one. Also the ads placed in the game are like a minute or more long. Most ads in games I’ve seen are 30 seconds. You’re not giving people the chance to even like the game as much as they could before bombarding them with ads.

This could be a fantastic game. It’s very well developed and fun. Stop being so greedy. For the record, I downloaded it from an ad I saw in a game I’ve played for years. Maybe adopt farm heroes placement of ads. 🩷
