Still no Apple Pay and also no instant deposit for people that get paid the untraditional way via Uber Postmates Lyft etc. To many neobanks coming in the market I will wait and see what happens with this bank by 2020
Finally got my debt card which took more than 2 weeks to get. So beware of that. Also no Apple Pay and debt card does not work with other apps like cash app or Venmo. Customer service is quick but seems not very professional on the phone. Lots of features in the app don’t work yet as live chat support send a check and cash a check. I feel like before launching fully all these things should be ready to use. I will see how they improve on this in the next few months.

I wish I could give Zero stars.
Upon receiving my Zero card and opening my account, I attempted to transfer money to my Zero account(using the Zero app) from an external bank account. The transfer went through on both Zero’s end and my external bank’s however 10 business days go by and Zero still has not credited the funds to my account. I call Zero and their customer service team takes my information and my account of what happened, and I never hear back. No calls, emails, ZERO. So I call my bank and dispute the transfer through my other bank, which they told me had been completed on their end the business day following the initial transfer from the Zero app. I initiate a dispute with my external bank to get my money back, and then Zero places a retaliatory freeze on my account requesting bank statements in order to “look into it.” I also have to deal with the treasury department because my tax return was scheduled to go into this account. Completely ridiculous, poor customer service, and very unprofessional for a new, online bank with no brick and mortar locations. Stay far away from Zero, the draw of getting cash back is NOT worth the hassle of dealing with these people.

UPDATE: I used my card tonight to do laundry and apparently fraud was committed when I did this. So I called and verified that I had made the purchases. But all the agent could do was escort the situation to operations and that could take 2-3 business days. THAT IS NOT LEGAL YOU CANNOT HOLD A PERSONS MONEY FOR THAT LONG FOR NO REASON! Once I said that I was the one who made those purchases then my account should’ve been un froze. I was also froze because they needed proof that I was the owner of my connected bank accounts. First off anyone anywhere can transfer funds to someone else’s bank account regardless of them being the account holder. This is a scam, it is not worth the time of day.
I don’t recommend adding or connecting your other bank accounts because I closed one of my accounts that was connected and now my Zero account is frozen with almost a thousand dollars in it. I contacted customer support twice to get the issue resolved and I was suppose to receive an email about confirming ownership of my connected accounts and I have yet to receive any email from Zero regarding this issue.
