ZeroTier One for iOS allows you to join ZeroTier virtual networks as VPN connections on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. ZeroTier creates secure peer-to-peer virtual Ethernet networks that work anywhere. Skip the VPN hassles. Connect hybrid clouds, remote teams, and IoT devices directly with no hardware required. ZeroTier One provides virtual network endpoint functionality for iOS devices. Getting started takes seconds: Just tap '+', enter your network ID and name, and then click ‘join network.’ (Once a network is added you can also join it via the iOS VPN control panel. It will appear there as an available VPN connection.) You can only join one ZeroTier network at once due to an iOS limitation of one VPN connection per network extension app. The app allows you to add multiple networks but if you flip one to 'on' any others currently joined will disconnect. Missing list of connected devices like tailscale iPhone app.I use for remote desk computer, will rate better then tailscale, as tailscale has issue to wake computer in sleeping mode… Set up exit node not simple knowledge of SSH is required compared to tailscale where with mouse click all can be done . Hope and expect more enhancement, connectivity is smooth & fast .

I’ve been making use of ZeroTier in several capacities for a few years now. Always been really simple to configure and has provided convenient connectivity across platforms. This iOS app has been equally useful here, I really like the model of almost no device side configuration!One feature I’d like to see here would be on-demand style activation. The WireGuard iOS app has the ability to automatically activate and deactivate based on network location, for example to disable VPN when at home. Would love to see that here as well.

I was hesitant to install based on the bad reviews, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. I had my iPhone connected in about 3 minutes. I was able to use Remote Desktop to connect to a couple of machines. It works great. It actually is more friendly than the desktop versions as you can join/un join with a toggle switch. I wish this was in those clients. I highly recommend.

I’ve been using ZeroTier for probably 10 years and it’s become my go to way to get access into my personal network infra as well as for my clients networks. The app is a little barebones but that can be a plus when you just want to get stuff done quickly and reliably. Great work guys and thanks
